Just a heads up that Criminal Intent is back on USA on March 30 with new episodes.

This is D'Onofrio's last season but we are very capable hands with Jeff Goldblum on the show. He really joined seamlessly.

Is Jeff Goldblum the only 1 on that show now? What about Kathleen Erbe and Eric Bogosian? Are they gone, too?

D'onofrio, Erbe, Bogosian, Nicholson are all out.

    from wiki:

Goldblum will now head the series with new partner Detective Serena Stevens, played by Saffron Burrows. Bogosian (Ross) also is set to leave with D'Onofrio and Erbe and will be replaced by Mary Elizabeth Mastrantonio, portraying Captain Zoe Callas.

Well, I'm out too, then. D'Onofrio and Erbe were the reasons to watch CI. I never warmed to Jeff Goldblum - his character is just a carbon copy of D'Onofrio's Goren - and none of the other female detectives came close to Erbe's Eames.

I have lost track of what day the original show is supposed to air, but I caught one last night that was new to me. Cutter was the featured cast member and he did a great job - like him much better now after that epi. Also, very nice to see Jeremy Sisto clean-shaven, I didn't care for his disheveled look.

Count me out on Criminal Intent, too.
I wasn't big on Jeff G. in what I felt to be a half baked imitation of a very well nuanced character ( Goren).

I'm still addicted to the original and SVU, though.

I usually only watch the SVU version but caught this last night also, and I agree, interesting! Too bad it is on opposite one of my favorite ABC "light crime" shows.

I do want to see the show that exits Vincent, Katherine and Eric - but after that I won't bother watching. I was finding the show rather stale anyway, so I can easily move on. I don't get USA so I'm hoping one of my Canadian Channels will pick it up.

Loved L&O last night - the boys clean shaven are cuter.

Cutter - who knew?? Good Twist. Did he also sleep with Madigan? I wonder.......

THat would be interesting, huh, and was something I thought of, too....

On another note, it was refreshing to see Amy Madigan in the role. She actually hasn't made her face unrecognizable as so many others have. She's actually allowing herself to age. Quite a concept........

I thought the same thing about Madigan - in a world where it would be so accepted for her to have work done, I love that she decides not to.

No love for Jeff Goldblum? He fills/will fill the VdO void for me. And I think his quirkiness will be a refreshing change over the dark/tortured.
