    New episodes for CI start on Sunday, April 19 at 9 pm!

    I can't wait to see what Goldblum brings to the cast. He's great at playing really quirky characters, you know?

    I absolutely adore Jeff Goldblum. He has always been one of my favorite actors so I'm really looking forward to seeing where he takes his character. I've always like the Criminal Intent episodes that starred Vincent D'nofrio the best. He is a great actor and I sure don't have a problem with his weight gain. Heck, alot of people gain weight as they get older. I do hope it isn't a serious health problem that is causing it though.

    Agreed - he is a true talent and brings so much intensity to the show. Especially with all that has happened to him and his family the past few seasons... I mean, he has every reason to be so dark and tortured (and possibly have put on a few pounds )

    Saturday night I watched the episode where his mother died. Anyone know what season that was? It wasn't that long ago and he looked really good.

    That was just last season. I liked his looks at that point - a little beefy and gray Vincent D'onofrio is still a pretty hot Vincent D'onofrio - but he looks much different now.

    That's right - it was really recently that his mother passed away.

    Do you think this is just going to be too much for him? I mean, is it going to start affecting his work life?

    I googled Reta Moreno to find out when she did appear on the show, and it was 2 seasons ago (2006-2007) she passed away. VD looked fabulous during that time, the episode aired 14 May 2007 (Season 6, Episode 21).

    In that time his appearance has deteriorated quite rapidly.

    My understanding is that Vincent D'Onofrio's TV mom passed away. Is someone saying his real life mom passed away and that is the reason for the weight gain?
    I liked him at the very beginning, but as seasons have passed, I think D'Onofrio has just gotten over the top. I thought he used to be a very good actor, but I no longer see him as one on this show.

    No, they were just saying that during the season where his mom passed away he was still looking good whereas now he looks haggard/poorly(some believe).

    Thanks. I wondered if people were equating the death of a TV show character with that of a real life person.
