I missed the episode when Wheeler's fiance is arrested. What happened? He is a cutie. I'm glad Chris Noth's leaving - as far as I can tell - isn't on a bad note. I'm not fond of the producer's way of "offing" the actors who want to leave, although they never really explained why or how Detective Fontana left. He was one of my faves. I have a thing for grey hair.
I'm also glad they didn't kill Logan off. I would have hated if they did that, because he's been there since the very start of the L&O franchise. Plus, didn't they kill off his sister in an SVU episode anyway a few years ago? I'll be interested to see what kind of character Jeff Goldblum will bring to the picture.
I think I just watched the Chris Noth's last episode. I couldn't tell. The DA announced the release of the wrongly convicted man and Noth's partner's fiance was arrested by the FBI. What a letdown. I wanted him to go out with the DA getting arrested and his getting a big promotion. At least they left it open for him to return sometime. I hope so, anyway.
I completely lost interest in the show last night about a third of the way through. I'm fairly sure that theme (refugee child soldiers) has been done before. It would have been more fun if it had really been about someone who thought their attacker was Satan. Disappointing.
Alex is back "temporarily", so the character says. She's been around for a few weeks now. Nothing about her physically has changed, which I found kind of funny since I thought she was in witness protection - same hair, same skinny body, and I think she even has the same eyeglasses.

I think Alex looks really good. Her hair looks great and, after watching the new prosecutor lady., she is a welcome diversion. That new prosecutor is probably the worst the L&O franchise has ever had, IMO. I still miss Diane Neal, though.
I have known for a long time that her and Bobby Filet (thats what we call bobby flay) are a couple, he even mentions her now and then on his shows saying how he and his wife love cooking together (so sweet!). Anyhow, I was wondering if there was/is trouble in paradise because she is back--it seems that they could never see each other (bobby shoots like 4 shows) if they were both working.
Anyhow, Alex is my all-time favorite with Diane Neal as a close second. And, I agree, this new chick is terrible. It is a good thing that SVU focuses more on the detectives than the DA's office (as opposed to the original L&O).
When do the new episodes of Criminal Intent air and on what station? My DVR is set to record CI anytime it comes on so I have a lot of them! I think Goren is the best character on tv...what an amazing actor (although I wonder why he gained so much weight...).
