Did anyone else watch this show besides me? (Its a tuesday night show...)

I had read an article in USA Today, last week, that got my interest so I tuned in. I really enjoyed the show.

I normally skip the high school shows... but this one kept my attention. I like the murder mystery side to it... and that Veronica is not some fragile buttercup.

I really liked Veronica. I just hope they don't turn the murdered friend mystery into the whole season thing, where you never find out what happened.

I was SO prepared to hate this show, but I love it. The characters are developing, the acting is great, and the writing is smart. The story is like an onion, you just keep peeling back more and more layers.

I agree... I can't stand utlra cheezy high school shows... but this one is different. I find myself drawn to find out what's going to happen. The writing isn't too bad either. I hope this one makes it and doesn't drag on too long before diving intp the plot.

I like it too. I wasn't gonna watch it because Veronica seemed too much like Chloe Sullivan from Smallville, but she's better. The show got such good reviews that I just had to check it out. It was worth it.

I think I read someplace that we will find out what happened to Lily by the end of the season.

I agree--this is an excellent show, and one it pays to watch every week, like Lost, as you keep getting new clues.
For example--who now thinks that Veronica's ex broke up with her when he found out that they might be half siblings? That is, her mom and his dad dated in high school, the break up was very sudden and unexplained (I had thought it had to do with her dad and his dad's run in), his sister/her best friend suddenly told her to forget him instead of encouraging her as before, and there was that whole deal from her dad about if a man loves a woman he will love her child as well.
Sorry to gather it isn't doing well in the ratings. It is very well acted.

PS that's a hint to all the Lost fans...doesn't have the sci fi side, but you might enjoy it. Just as in Lost you learn a little more about the characters' backgrounds each week. For example, that the snotty kid who's the son of a film star is beaten by his dad with a belt. And you get a new clue to the mystery almost every time.

**I thought the same thing! just as soon it was implied that her Mother had dated that jerk in High School.... but... I hope its not true. Cause Veronica's Mother let her date him a bit too long if it is true...

Talking about weird things... the show a couple weeks ago when the younger boy with a crush on Veronica found out his Dad is now a woman. I nearly fainted when that was disclosed. I never saw it coming.

Then poor Veronica's lastest boyfriend turned out to have everyone fooled. I am never ever bored with this show. It never gives out broad hints to what is coming. It just slaps you in the face!

And I love the Weasel guy... I like how they have all kinds of different extreme type of kids as her friends.

~~I just read yesterday that UPN did pick the show up for a full season... the critics love it and UPN is hoping it will build a decent audience.
