I totally agree. I was so dissapointed. When Mr Nerd and I saw the banner for "200th ep" we both went "oooooh"
then when we watched it we both thought "Oh lame"

I sort of watched it, sort of didn't and just couldn't get into it. Hubby bowls on Thursday nights, so I DVR'd it for him. We tried again watching it and I ended up sorting and folding laundry in another room, that's how bad it was!

I saw it was directed by William Friedkin and thought...oh boy. Then I was disappointed too, it was not the best...

I've been unable to watch since Petersen left. It's not the same show at all.

I enjoyed the obvious "Trekkie Convention" knock-off with Wendy and Hodges. How totally cheesy were those scenes, I loved them!! Proudly, or sadly, I knew every Star Trek scene they knocked off ... !

LOL! See, to me, it was a waste of an hour, other than finally finding out who offed that guy.

I was never into any of the Star Trek stuff. My son and daughter, and her boyfriend, however, did go to the boyfriend's sister's Trekkie wedding a few years ago though!
