That's crazy! Who would try to kill themself like that? You'd have to be psychotic, not just depressed.

the wife was of Asian Indian decent. (picture on the wall and I happened to notice the guest star's last name was Patel) As Grissom said, it's believed in some cultures that fire is cleansing. On the other hand it could have just been a suicide of opportunity... the vodka was there and so was the lighter.

That was a heartbreaking episode. It was a nice change from the regular format and it was a great episode.

Tomorrow's 2-hour season finale is directed by Quentin Tarantino. It apparently includes the final performance of Frank Gorshin, who died yesterday at age 72. He was best known for playing The Riddler in the
1960's "Batman" series. R.I.P. Mr. Gorshin.

I didn't know Frank Gorshin was featured in the episode. All the more reason to watch, thanks Qboots. I can't wait to see it tonight especially since Q.T. directed it.

Pretty good finale but one thing I've been having a problem with was the coffin blowing up at the end even after they "equalized" the pressure/weight with the dirt.

I think I still prefer the normal CSI format.
