Gosh I can't believe Sam isn't going to be around....it sure seems like he died at the scene.

Yup, with donuts!!
The Izzy story is starting to have the feel of a real life murder that took place...and I think Law and Order did a story around it (years ago) as well. In the real life version the wife wanted to set up an alibi so she took her husband's ex-wife and grown daughter out for drinks while the guys she paid to kill her husband did the job.
I was thinking the same thing that the woman might have hired someone. Plus, she and the new wife could be in on it together!

Hi....just discovered the forums beyond reality tv. Wow....a whole board about CSI! You know, when Sam was dying there....that was my thought too. Wondered about inheritances, challenged inheritances, and how long CBS could drag it out. It certainly changes the tensions in the show from before, doesn't it.

lol. i cant believe some of you guys thought about money, wills, inheritance while catherine held her dad dead. thats just hilarious.
but yeah, who killed izzy? hope they dont drag it too long. they tempted us the last minute in the season opener. half of 2nd episode dealt with it along with cat/sam/lindsey thing which was a continuation of the opener. hope they'll wind it down next week and if not the following week better be the end of it. I've got Lost and 24 only for these serial continuation thing where you have to watch every single episode.
not my frickin fault. fine, my fault, i always get blamed anyways.
Catherine and her dad have never had a good relationship. She didn't even know for sure he was her dad until a couple of seasons ago. She never liked his criminal lifestyle, he's gotten away with murder on several occasions, and even though she cared about him and was upset when he suddenly got shot, all I could think of was "she just became rich"![]()
I think Sam might have left money for either Catherine's mom or Lindsey, but not Cath herself...
Also with this Izzy case I think it might be like the Paul Molander case (the dude with the pot mark face) it will come up again later in the season and they will figure out who did it...
Phew, thanks! I know when I watched it, part of me was watch Cat crying for help and holding Sam and thinking "why am I not getting into the emotion?" I mean, I cry at most any provocation when it comes to movies and tv, but here I am thinking..........how long is CBS going to draw out the inheritance thing?
BTW........agree on the Izzy thing, sad to say, I had a flash back to the Paul Molander (name?) segments. Since they showed Gris pulling that picture off, makes me wonder if they wrap it up next week or later. Gotta watch and see.
On the characters personal issues, I'd sure like to know where they are going to take the story line with Warrick's marriage. Since the marriage was the "what the heck" story line last season, wonder if they are having second thoughts about having him married and working on an expedient means of getting him single again. Or maybe I just think too much on this LOL!
