    They were according to rumor, but postponed for the moment because Grissom had to miss the shooting of the show where it was supposed to happen due to a family emergency. It was "show dependent" in that they were "on the road" and sharing a motel or motel room or something. But clearly that 's in their plans for some point.

    from what i remember, she went into counselling, i'm not sure if she finished the whole thing, and then it got dropped after grissom asked her if she went and she said yes, it was over. i don't know. in my opinion, they never really explained it.
