    Re: CSI

I never had a problem with Marg's character, Catherine. I liked the Old Vegas connection she had, although it was a way better story when Sam was alive. Even after he was gone she was often referred to as "Sams little girl" by some of the casino characters. Out of all of them she was the one who was a part of the city & it's past & present rather than just another CSI who could be from any city. I liked that.
My favorite episodes are the ones where they feature Las Vegas history & it's quirks. The type that couldn't take place anywhere but there.
I'm going to miss that connection.

I liked that about Catherine as well. I think this latest cast change is an incredible mistake on their part. Too many changes at once turns it into another show. And in this particular case, don't fix what ain't broken! That cast member is fine, in all senses of the term!
I also like this CSI best because it is the only one that really has the cast mostly in the lab and not busting down doors, etc., as the do on the Miami version for example. I hope they are not making the cast changes because they are going to go in that direction.

So Finn/Juls was a little less annoying in the most recent episode, but only a little.

Loved seeing JEFFREY PIERCE (Jack Sylvane - Alcatraz) and so glad he didn't turn out to be the bad guy.

Not sure who styled the hair for Nick but seriously . . . . . . just let me do it from now on please!!!

For me, anything is better than the porn start mustache and hair-do that Nick was sporting years ago. Hahaha... This was a good episode but it felt a little disjointed to me. I hope the cast can get back to how it used to be soon.

I remember the 'stache and that overworked do (which always looked like it had been styled by Donald Trump).

I had neglected to mention that George Eads turned 44 yesterday. Still looking mighty fine.

IIRC - that was done on purpose when he and the guy show plays Sanders had a bet as to who could look the most stoopid. They both went OTT for a couple of months.

not sure what inspired his new look of late - looks like "The Sheldon" from Big Bang Theory.....

    Re: CSI

Finally caught up on the two most recent episodes of CSI. The hair didn't get any better (it can't get much worse).

Was surprised to see Sam Harris (think: Star Search - early 80's edition). He has aged, but is still recognizable. Was hoping he'd sing, but he didn't. I may be off on where the credit is due, but I've noticed many many more shows carrying the nursery rhyme/fairy tales/make believe stories theme since ONCE UPON A TIME started.

Next week (March 28th) is a repeat episode, but there will be a new episode on April 4th

I've noticed the fairy tale trend, too. It's everywhere now!

I did a double take at the woman who was one of the robbers ... I really thought it was Geena Davis in a blonde wig.

I love Jacqueline Smith. She was my hero when she was on Charlie's Angels, and she has been nothing but classy ever since.

    Re: CSI

Posting this here because there doesn't seem to be a separate CSI:NY thread.

According to this schedule, we'll still see Mac and the gang on Friday nights, but at EIGHT O'CLOCK instead of nine.
