I might have blinked and missed it, but I don't recall seeing MRS. GRISSOM in last night's episode. Not even a mention of the MARRIED one.
Took me most of the episode to realize that "Jason Devereaux " played the killer son of the very rich Mr. Lyedecker on Medium and the killer in the comic book episode of Numb3rs (where we saw Judd Hirsch reunited with Christopher Lloyd). Knew I'd seen him somewhere!
you're right - no Mrs. Grissom last night.....lots of my Nicky though!!!
He's also Jane's guardian angel Fred in Drop Dead Diva.Quote:

Loved seeing Enrique Murciano - they need to make him a permanent cast member!!
I wonder if anyone else feels this way?
I love Lawrence Fishburn as an actor but every time his character comes into a scene on this show all the energy seems to get sucked out of it.
I find myself being so bored that I lose attention and then I don't know what's going on.
Is anyone else having this problem with the Fishburn character?
BTW--I too would love to see Grissom come back. At the very least he felt alive. :nod

The show was on for about 11 minutes before Sara mentioned "Mr Grissom". Guess it was to make up for last week.
The show is definitely different since Fishburne replaced Peterson - he's not a captivating personality like Grissom was.
Actually, I thought last night's episode was one of the best in a long time. It really made me think about pre-conceived notions and how quick we are to assume. In the end, it didn't really matter whether or not the cop was a racist pig. He was doing his duty and the color of the suspect/cop's skin had nothing to do with it. It was hard to accept that, even in the end, because the whole time I was thinking how "obvious" it was that he was nothing but a racist cop who took the opportunity to gun down the black guy.
^^^ well, that is how the depicted the story right from the start, from the eye witness reports, the racist remarks, to the evidence that he could've been shot at close range.
And it all changed because of Grape Jelly.
