| Locke discovers Charlie's secret?? Can't someone else be the "angel" :rolleyes I have to admit when they most of the entire show working on Jack's problems, I'm really getting this feeling that it's some kind of purgatory as well. I really hope not, though. |

| Great show. I have to admit, though, that after Jack had seen his father, and when we first learn that his dad died in Australia, I immediately thought that another miracle had happened - a la Locke . . . that his dad's body had been on the plane, and that the magic of the Island had somehow brought him back to life - much like how Locke could walk again. I feel pretty silly now for thinking that . . . .I mean, if that were true, why wouldn't his dad talk to him. I now believe that the coffin was put on the plane empty. I do think, though, that his "dad" led him on that wild goose chase for the sole purpose of finding the water source. Kinda like he was helping him out - watching over his son somehow. I know . . . probably a silly thought . . . Also, am I the only one who found it somewhat humorous that the coffin survived the impact of the crash intact, yet with just a few good hits Jack was able to bust it to splinters??? ![]()

| Here's my theory.... Jack is an alcoholic like his dad. I think that the reason he is seeing things - and looking peekid is that he is going through withdrawl. I think that his dad is just a hallucination. I bet that the body WAS on the plane - but either it fell out as the crash happened (and will be found later), or it was taken by some critters. Oh Yeah.... So CHARLEY has the tattoo? Where is it - and what did it say? |

| The words on his shoulder were "Living is easy with eyes closed". I wonder if it is a personal tattoo or was created for the show. |

| Some nerdy stuff From Websters definition of White Rabbit The story begins as Alice, out of curiosity, follows the White Rabbit down his hole. The White Rabbit was also the codename of F. F. E. Yeo-Thomas, an undercover British agent in Occupied France during World War II. White Rabbit is also the title of one of the simpler and more memorable songs by the US rock group called Jefferson Airplane which includes several other references to characters in Lewis Carroll's tale. Lyrics to that song One pill makes you larger And one pill makes you small, And the ones that mother gives you Don't do anything at all. Go ask Alice When she's ten feet tall. And if you go chasing rabbits And you know you're going to fall, Tell 'em a hookah smoking caterpillar Has given you the call. Call Alice When she was just small. When the men on the chessboard Get up and tell you where to go And you've just had some kind of mushroom And your mind is moving low. Go ask Alice I think she'll know. When logic and proportion Have fallen sloppy dead, And the White Knight is talking backwards And the Red Queen's "off with her head" Remember what the dormouse said: "Feed your head, Feed your head" Tattoo Googled The tattoo is from a JOhn Lennon Song Let me take you down, 'cause I'm going to Strawberry fields Nothing is real And nothing to get hung about Strawberry fields forever Living is easy with eyes closed Misunderstanding all you see It's getting hard to be someone, but it all works out It doesn't matter much to me Let me take you down, 'cause I'm going to Strawberry fields Nothing is real And nothing to get hung about Strawberry fields forever No one, I think, is in my tree I mean, it must be high or low That is, you can't, you know, tune in, but it's alright That is, I think it's not too bad Let me take you down, 'cause I'm going to Strawberry fields Nothing is real And nothing to get hung about Strawberry fields forever Always, no, sometimes, think it's me But, you know, I know when it's a dream I think, er, no, I mean, er, yes, but it's all wrong That is, I think I disagree Let me take you down, 'cause I'm going to Strawberry fields Nothing is real And nothing to get hung about Strawberry fields forever Strawberry fields forever Strawberry fields forever Too many theories...JJ is giving us many things to play with, and obviously enjoys playing with our heads ![]() | |

| I would have to guess that Jack's dad isn't alive... but wouldn't that be awesome if it turns out that he's actually on the plane, in disguise, and Jack hasn't noticed it yet? It would kind of make sense, too... he was trying to run from his family, and played dead so he could go back to the states... and then got caught in the plane crash. Not very likely, but hey, it's possible ![]() |
