It looked like an entire crate of dolls, not just one in the wreckage field that Jack found or was led to. I couldn't tell whether that was the tail, but I was a little surprised Jack didn't call out, seeing if anyone was about. If there can be survivors from one half of a plane, I'd expect him to at least imagine that there might be survivors from the other half as well. I was expecting that it might make sense for them to consider moving to the water source, caves seeming like a reasonable protection from the elements, but there really haven't been that mant elements so far, have there? It was looking a little stormylike this episode, though. Didn't care for either Jack's dad or mom, which means they must be lovely people. I'll bet Jack's transgression that restricts his ability to opt out of fetching his dad was something only significant within THAT families dynamics. Locke has a pool at inner ability and strength that belies his "I'm a regular joe" kinda statement to Jack. I wonder whether his mentioning "seeing the eye of the island and finding it beautiful" is indicative of an artistic bent that he has or that he is hornified to the extreme where beasties are looking yummy. Looks to me like someone made a boo boo done under at the medical examiners office. They didn't rip the bag with Jack's dad open past the head, but despite Jack seeming to find acceptance of his dad's passing at the end of the show, I won't be satisfied until I see a body with autopsy stitching. I think Jack actually saw his dad at least once, and then the combination of factors that he spoke to Locke about convinced him he saw him other times when in fact he hadn't. That was either a rather stout stick that Jack convieniently chose, or he sure went to the cheapside when selecting a coffin. What was it made of, particleboard? Korean guy (prior to the previews of next weeks show) almost had to go and ruin the image I'd formed of him being a jackass. Its about time that someone got around to organizing things. Someone like Sawyer should never have been permitted to set up a personal scavenging operation designed only to benefit himself. Sayid's apt depicting of the rat leading you back to the stash reminded me of the title character of "King Rat". Sawyer fits that bill precisely.

Hmmmm...I think we need to make a list of all the "props" in every episode and try to figure out their importance!

![]() As far as getting organzied, I remember that at the end of the second episode (i believe), Sayeed was trying to organize people into several groups. I guess they needed a stronger leader to keep that organization going. ![]() Locke's comment about looking straight at the eye of the island and finding it beautiful is very intriguing. That comment just made me think of the time he went boar-hunting and the "monster" was heading towards him, but we never actually found out if he saw the "thing" or not.

| Just wanted to say how much I love this show and it is great to be around people who analyze every little detail like me If only I live on the East Coast so I could post my theories before everyone else posts them ![]()

I was going to ask--did Charlie always have that tattoo? But I guess it wsan't noticeable, since people have been mentioning it. I am sure that will have signifigance later in the show. I also like how purposely the shot stayed on the tape that still says "late." Does it have anything to do with Jack's "late" father perhaps? I loved Locke's comment as well about looking into the eye of the island and thinking it was beautiful. I have a feeling that he may turn out to be more of an important player later on. He seems to "know" more than he lets on. (Like how he insisted Jack "finish what he started.") He (Locke) has quite certainly changed from that desperate man they portrayed last week. I have gotten "paranoid" about clues in the show, everything I see I try to analyze. ![]()

I am hooked on this show. There is a pretty good site dedicated just to the show with some episode guides (they have the titles to all of the upcoming episodes....), plus lots of screen caps and such. There is also a forum with a spoiler section where there are lots of juicy tidbits and theories about the show. The website is www.lost-tv.com . (I should mention I am in NO WAY affiliated with the website... so I have nothing to gain by sending people there). Regarding the Tatoo.... several posters on that forum said he had that tatoo from his "Party of Five" days. I also just saw an article about 2 hours ago that said that "Lost" and "Desparate Housewives" have been picked up for the whole season. So they will be finishing the first season of episodes (they only made 10 so far). One of the visitors to the forum at the other site is an actress, and her agent sends out the "casting calls" for the show. She has posted some of them in the "Spoilers" thread. You can tell what sort of stuff is coming up later in the season by looking at the roles they are casting.

cwipperman, the tattoo is on Charlie and not Jack. From ABC: Saturday, October 23, 8/7c & 9/8c "Walkabout" & "White Rabbit" Get caught up with the last two episodes of Lost! Survivors are jolted awake in the middle of the night when wild island beasts invade the beach encampment. Kate and Michael join the mysterious Locke on a hunt for food — and a shocking secret about Locke is revealed. Then, Jack is near delirious from lack of sleep, Boone gets caught in a treacherous riptide, the pregnant Claire's health takes a bad turn, and a thief may have stolen the last bottles of water. Wednesday, October 27, 8/7c "House of the Rising Sun" Walt and the others are shocked when Michael is brutally beaten, but only the non-English-speaking Jin and Sun know the truth behind the attack. Meanwhile Kate, Jack, Sawyer and Sayid argue about where the survivors should camp — on the beach, where they're more likely to be seen, or in a remote inland valley where fresh water abounds; and Locke discovers Charlie's secret. Poor Michael can't get a break. He is stranded, his wife is dead, his son detests him, a boar gores him and next week he is beaten by Jin.
