| Sayid wonders what "hatch" Boone was talking about. Locke says maybe one of the hatches on the plane. Flashback shows Sayid convincing Essam to go through with the bombing, Sayid will help him. Sayid tells Shannon he believes Boone's death was an accident, Locke would never hurt him. She's pissed. Michael and Jin work on the raft. Walt is concerned about weight, tippage, sharks, dying. Charlie finds that Sawyer's voice is the only thing that calms the baby. Jack wakes up to find the gun case key missing. He blames Locke of course, but it was Shannon that took it.

| Has it been discussed as to why Locke is so cagey about the hatch? I wondered why he didn't just tell people about it. |

| Flashback shows Sayid confessing to Essam that the CIA is involved. Essam pulls out a gun and blows off his own head. Jack, Kate and Sayid run through the rain. They find Shannon holding a gun on Locke. Sayid dives on her and the gun goes off. (I scream.) Locke falls. (I scream some more.) Shannon runs off. Locke sits up, his temple grazed. (I am relieved.) Locke glares at Jack.

| Flashback shows the CIA agent telling Sayid that Nadia is a lab tech near L.A. They have a plane ticket for him - it leaves in 2 hours. He wants to claim Essam's body, but there's not enough time. So he changes his flight plans. Locke thanks Sayid for saving his life, especially since it cost him Shannon's affections. Sayid says that the group really needs Locke. But he doesn't forgive Locke, nor does he trust him. Sayid: "Take me to the hatch. No more lies."

| Good episode, but it didn't feel as filling as other episodes (like two episodes ago when Boone used the radio). Next week, it looks like Jack, Sayid and Locke are all at the hatch, while Kate tries to get a ride on the raft, and it seems Michael disagrees. I'm really looking forward to it. I hope we really get somewhere with the hatch other than "it can't be opened or broken". That thing keeps bugging me. Also, I know there's three episodes left, but are they all bunched together next week, or is it just one next week, and two back to back the week after? Either way, I'm glad that we have a NEW episode next week. |

| Neo-G: there's a Kate episode next week, then part one of the finale the following week, then parts 2 & 3 of the finale May 25. deblyn: the coolest part is that I get to see 2 different previews for next week's episode!
