| The pilot turned back to go to Bora Bora - they're in the Pacific. 1,000 miles? For a sense of scale, Hawaii is 2,500 miles away from Los Angeles. Yes, they need to start looking around, finding food, starting a signal fire... |

| I think ya'll are right about all hell breaking loose next episode. I just rewatched the preview for next week and then again in slow motion. It says "Their survival is threatened; Their beliefs are questioned; Their fears are real." Everybody including Locke looks scared or terrified in the scenes. Locke looks like he might be confronting something in the jungle. The black lady says her husband is not dead, but I don't think the person in the suit is him. The guy in the suit look like a young white guy. I love reading all your ideas and theories about Lost. It is the best new show in years. ![]() |

| O.K. one thing I don't understand (and trust me . . .I've had a couple of strawberry margaritas at happy hour a couple of hours ago . . . .o.k - maybe three) is this - it looked like the black lady was kissing a wedding ring on a chain around her neck at one point. Now, if her husband was still alive - before the crash - why would she have his wedding ring on a chain around her neck? I would think that would be the case if she had LOST her husband prior to the flight. . . so her comment that he isn't really dead strikes me as kinda strange. Or is it just me. . . . (and the margaritas)???

| Could be. I remember her saying he was in the bathroom, but not her kissing a ring. |

| The more I think about it the more I think the Agent wasn't really an agent. I think he was someone that was chasing her. It seems off that she needs to ask him to make sure the old man gets the money. If he was a real fed, it would be up to someone else, not the agent. Plus, when he was chasing them in his truck and pulled up beside them and did the shooting thing with his fingers, I got the creeps. I think whatever happened had something to do with him and that he isn't an agent.
