I agree - she had plenty of opportunity to off him if she really wanted to. Also, she didn't act like she knew what to do with a gun. Remember, she asked how to dismantle it, and she just followed Sayed's instructions. Unless she was faking, she looked scared when holding a gun and unsure of how to use it - didn't look like a killer to me.

No, I think you are right on about the Korean women losing those things. I think those are pretty good guesses.

Walt - lost his mom and Vincent
Kate - her freedom or humanity. Maybe her crime was heinous like murder?
Jack - not much discussion about him. He was drinking fairly heavily on the airplane as if he was trying to forget. Was he running away from somebody/something in Australia?

Thats exactly what I think. I also think she wants him dead so no one finds out she was the criminal or what crime she committed. He is the only one that knows.
