This is such a great show - I finally caught the pilot, so I've seen them both now - I can't wait for the episode tonight. I hope they go more into what each of them has done - I'm dying to know what Kate is hiding about herself.

Regarding the kid (Sorry, I still don't know everyone's names yet), I don't think the guy with him is his dad. I've never heard him call him dad. & their relationship seems strange, distant. Of course he could be his dad that he never saw & he just had to go get him when the mom died.

Also, I had read that JJ said that everyone in the show lost something, not just that they were lost.

I am thinking Kate has been tracked for quite awhile by the marshall guy. I think he was extraditing her for something. I bet she killed someone possibly, as stated above, she was a former agent of some sort. It appears she and the marshall definately have a long tern relationship of some sort. She wants him dead that is for sure!

But, didn't he ask the Korean woman if she had seen his son? I think it is his son but they haven't had much of a relationship.

Wondering about the rock star... will he end up a sort of legend now that he is lost?

Walt is Michael's son. He was living with his mom in Australia but she died so Michael was on the plane because he was going to get him.

If she had wanted him dead, why did she try to help him when the plane was going down? She has had plenty of opportunity on the island to finish him off while he was unconscious as well. Her actions show she is not a malicious person. Maybe we are looking at this from the wrong angle. Perhaps he is the criminal, a "crooked" law enforcement officer and she saw something she was not supposed to and has been on the run.

OH good thought! yes she did help him with the oxygen but now I think she has thought better of that decision.
