Re what counts as "science", yeah, I guess they are going to count the paranormal. I wouldn't mind except for them saying that it would all be explainable in normal terms. Normal for me means CSI normal. I also don't understand why Walt's dad didn't just go to Amsterdam. He's a painter supposedly--there have been a few good painters from there after all! And I'm sure they even have construction work. He seemed to be a kind of house dad anyway. But his wife didn't even seem to be asking him to come. Does anyone know when the last new episodes will be shown? Or what the schedule for new vs repeats is for the rest of the season. I know I've seen that listed by some for a few weeks ahead, don't think I've seen it for the rest of the season. Need to plan my life around new Losts! ![]()

![]() I guess Locke's ability of "casting spells" fits into paranormal phenomena... I just think he's following his destiny to lead others, or else he has Boone hooked on goofy goop.

| MY quick observation. Not only did a bird immediately smash into the window when Walt got mad and screamed that his moher wasn't looking at him, but I beleive the bird was the same one he said he would do his report on, the one that wasn't funny, but had a funny name. Who else thought the penguin with a sun burn was forshadowing? We already have a polar bear with a sun burn! I think father and son can work well together. Father now has a pen, he can draw the animals/beings and have his sun 'conjure' them up as it were. A couple cows, a pig or two, some chickens etc. Start farming!

| I was looking at a tape of an old Smallville from last night, to make sure I'd already seen it, and "Boone" was on it, being a villian type, Adam, who Lana was trying to evict from his room at the Talon for spying on her and Clark. I knew I'd seen him somewhere before! |

| Surely you aren't suggesting that Locke really has him (and Charlie? and Walt?) under a "spell"? I think they are just grateful to him for his help and looking for someone who has some idea of what to do. Despite Jack's supposed leadership role, he doesn't do much these days.

| Re: Walt and his conjured animals - refresh my memory (please) did Michael leave Walt behind when the first polar bear was found? I mean - was Michael with the group when Sawyer shot and killed the bear / was that one conjured up by Walt as well? And how does the dog play into the picture? There is a reason the dog is there, lets not forget, just like the rest of them.

| If Walt can "conger up" critters, how come he couldn't find his dog (beginning of the season) ? Was the bird trying to attack Walt, like the polar bear? One bird smashing into the window shouldn't be enough to cause stepdad Brian to flipout. |
