| I like the idea that they're all dead but in purgatory, but the one part that doesn't fit for me is the injured people. If they were all dead, they'd all have some pretty big old gashes on them. We've got a guy unconscious filled with scrapnel, another guy with a tournaquet from having his leg crushed under the plane, and let's not forget the guy who went through the still working jet engine. That's why I think they are survivors, but on some spooky place with weird creatures, perhaps based on imagination and fear of the survivors. About the pregnant woman feeling her baby move after eating the Korean man's food, when you're pregnant eating something sweet (like fruit) will often wake up baby and cause a little kicking. I remember being told "if you're worried about not feeling your baby move, drink a big glass of OJ and then lie on your left side and wait 15 minutes." So, I think the Korean guy found some tropical fruit. Not to say that he didn't spike it with something . . .

I think this a really great new show. I hope they are survivors and not all dead. You all have some interesing theories. My so thinks it's the Bermuda triangle or something similar, but I think that's way too obvious. I need to watch again tomorrow because I missed some details about the polar bear and the oriental woman and her husband...I assume he's her husband??

Qboots, I'm the same way. Whenever I'm watching a movie or something, and an animal may be hurt, I'm always like, "No!! Not the dog!!!" ![]()

Oh, I wouldn't worry about the dog. I think the boy and the dog are pretty much ensured of survival... they never kill off kids and dogs. I suspect too many writers out there traumatized by childhood memories of "Old Yeller" or something, and that's why it never happens. ![]() I was reading critics reviews of the show and they were very favourable on the most part. The only critique that seemed to be shared among some of them was that is was rather unbelievable that everyone is so good-looking and also that most of the survivors are in pretty good shape (no missing limbs or anything).

I am so mad! The shows aren't coming on here in Minnesota until after 10:30 pm because of the U of M football game. ![]()
