Not only does he not have an Asian accent, he has a California accent. The actress who plays Sun has more of an Asian accent.

The showed 2 seconds of Hurley's backstory

Tomorrow, Robin talks to all the guys. They didn't say if there is a segment Thurs.

And he's the leading man on the show, so he would certainly qualify as "big," and Kristen's already clarified that big means important and not fat. Her making that clarification seems to eliminate Hurley right off the bat. (And I'm taking Kristen's comments at face value. I have no idea if any of this is credible.)

    my thoughts:

I thought maybe he could be elsewhere when she goes into labor, or it is a quick "catch the baby" type of birth. Personally I think it is Boone that dies. It had better not be Charlie, Sawyer or Hurley. It could be Kate. Maybe she starts to trust one of the guys and something happens because of that? It wouldn't hurt me if she bit the dust.

Oh cool! They just showed a Canadian preview I hadn't seen before!
Hurley is looking at all the numbers on Danille's maps that Sayid took. He "discovers" a clue and starts questioing Sayid about the cable he found on the beach, but won't tell Sayid why. Then it shows him on the beach, holding the cable, yelling "Yo! French chick!"

A preview for tomorrow's show aired on CTV a minute ago, during The Amazing Race.

In it, Hurley becomes obsessed with the French Woman, asks Sayid some questions about her and the cable.

Hurley goes into the jungle, looking for her.

He finds the cable going into the sea (I think), and he begins to follow it into the jungle.

Well, it would be their loss.

My favorite character is unquestionably Locke, and if they kill him off I will be completely heartbroken. But I wouldn't even consider not watching the show since it's The. Best. Thing. On. TV.

Anybody who's only watching in the hopes of catching a glimpse of one actor is doing themselves a disservice.

It's about time we saw Hurley's (Jorge Garcia) back story. He's certainly one of the more colorful characters on the island, and yet we don't know very much about him (didja catch him on the TV screen in the background of the Korean official's home last week?). I had heard through the TV columnist grapevine (i.e. the Internets) that Hurley's episode would air in March -- and my "sources" were correct. Tonight, Hurley becomes obsessed with finding French island dweller Danielle Rousseau (guest star Mira Furlan) -- and heads off into the jungle to find her. This, of course, leaves Jack (Matthew Fox), Sayid (Naveen Andrews) and Charlie (Dominic Monaghan) no choice but to follow him. Meanwhile, Locke (Terry O'Quinn) asks Claire (Emilie de Ravin) to help him build a mysterious item.
did anyone notice Hurley on the TV?

I dont think Locke is going to be killed off. He's the 'Liason' to the Island, so to speak. He's the one with the most contact with it, so he is the intermediary between the castaways and the island.

I think you're right. My choice would be Boone or Rose whom we haven't seen much off....I can't bare to part with any other characters !

ps. is it true there won't be any new episodes after this for 6 weeks?

Yes, unfortunately. I think this is episode number 18 tonight, meaning there's going to be 6 more new episodes left to air, in April and May.

Yes, quite a few of us did.

I saw a very brief clip from tonight's show on Good Morning America which seemed to involve

Hurley visiting someone in a psych ward.

off GMA: Hurley said his episode turned out great and the final scene was wonderful.

I jotted down tidbits from both GMA segments and will post them after the show.

    ENJOY !

Hurley is helping Jin & Michael build a new raft. Guards are posted to prevent sabotage. Michael would like to take along something with which to send an SOS to ships. Jack & Hurley go to Sayid for directions to Danielle's hideout, to get her batteries. Sayid says no.

Flashback shows Hurley at home with his Mom, channel surfing. He comes across a lottery drawing: the winning numbers are 4, 8, 15, 16, 23, & 42 - same as the numbers on Danielle's paperwork.

Jack, Sayid & Charlie realize Hurley has gone looking for Danielle and go after him.

Flashbacks show Hurley has won the lottery. But his grampa keels over dead at the press conference, the priest gets struck by lightning at the funeral, his brother splits up with his wife and moves back home, he buys himself a yellow Hummer and a mansion for his mom, which promptly catches fire and his mom twists her ankle. Then he's arrested by the cops.

Wow, this really is wierd, almost in a... Waltish way. Everything has pretty much gone wrong... he just bought this house for his mom, and not only did the mom break her ankle, but the house set on fire AND he got arrested by the police when he was calling 911. Now that's some bad luck It's actually a little bit comic, though... At least, I'm hoping that it's supposed to be, as I was laughing at some of bad things that had happened to him

    Danielle's numbers cursed the ship

Locke asks Claire to help him build something.

Flashbacks show Hurley talking to his accountant about his money. He's the majority stock-holder in Locke's box company in Tustin! He thinks that the winning numbers were cursed and goes to visit his old buddy Leonard in the psych ward. The numbers are something that Lenny mutters to himself over and over.

Back in the jungle Hurley steps on a pressure trigger just as the other 3 guys catch up with him. He dives out of the way of a big spikey thing.
