Mrdob, I've been watching it with a notepad beside me for the last few weeks.

Interesting history we learned about Sawyer, now we know why he is so troubled. It's as if he wanted to get tortured and beaten by Sayid, in order to punish himself or something.....major issues in his life

. Now for the kiss between him and kate, I really thought all she would do would be give him a peck, but she gave him a full tongue kiss a few times. I see major chemistry between them, even if outwardly they give off the impression of hating each other!!!

ps. we learned Sawyer isn't even his real name, did anyone hear if he mention what his real name was? I don't think he did though................

You heard correctly. He had $140K in the briefcase but the pool guy said it was $160K. The pool guy called Sawyer's potential victim a "civilian", which I thought was unusual.

Great show last night! You just never know what to expect when watching these background stories, do you? Still some unanswered questions for the

here to continue to speculate on..........
(1) We still don't know who knocked out Sayid. Possible suspects are still Locke (way too quickly diverted suspicion from himself) and French Lady, who we will meet next week. Hopefully we'll find out the answer to this next week.
(2) What is Sawyer's real name? Maybe this doesn't matter and we'll never know, since he has in fact turned into Mr. Sawyer.
(3) What was Sawyer doing in Australia? Running from the guy who he owed money to maybe?

Loved how Michael told Jin "Don't - just DON'T" when Jin got all mad at him and Sun. Way to stick up for yourself, bro! And like others here have already stated, Hurley is just so funny and can always provide a chuckle or two every episode. The Charlie/Claire/Peanut Butter deal was so cute and I think those two would make an adorable couple. (But isn't Charlie getting over his withdrawal rather quickly? I thought it could take longer than that). Nice to see Boone and Shannon actually act like siblings and care for each other for a change, when they're usually spatting. And, dang, Freckles really got into that kiss with Sawyer! (Not that I blame her!)

Do you all remember the movie "Encino Man"? Wasn't David (the husband of the girl Sawyer was sleeping with) in last night's show the "cool punk kid" from that movie? He looked really familiar to me, and I thought that might be him all grown up.
