Then I came to my senses and thought it was Sawyer...but that meant he would've had to go back to the beach, find someone to light the flare/firework and catch up with Sayid. My guess is it's probably someone we haven't met.

As to predictable, I believe that has to happen a little more often now. Since we know more about the characters each week, it easier to predict what they will do. Personally, I'd rather see a character develop logically rather than have them do a 180 just so the writers can deliver a 'surprise'. I think the island and the inhabitants still have enough surprises built in to last for quite a while. Just my opinion, though.

| Hmm, just thought of something. They picked up the radio transmission earlier in the season. If no one ever got that transmission thats been going on for 16 years, why do they think someone will get theirs? |

| Agreed, Florimel and DJeterFan. It's a tribute to the writers that a sub-average episode is still superior to 90% of the junk on network TV. |

| I agree that the moth symbolism was a little obvious, but a show aimed only at the intellectually astute won't last very long. Pitch it where they can hit it. Keep 'em hooked.

| I wasn't sure why Boone put Shannon in charge of the rocket? She almost screwed it up, as she has a tendency to be somewhat flaky (sorry Shannon fans) it's kind of odd I think (unless I missed some explanation) that he would put something important in her hands and not do it himself. I understand from past episodes that he thinks she can't take care of herself, or be useful, but this is something with an outcome that could affect them all, not just the two of them..... |
