| I was kind of cheering for Jack and the others during that commercial. "Kill Sawyer, guys! Make him hurt!" Interesting that we're dealing with the two most obnoxious characters on the show tomorrow In side news, was Claire anywhere in today's episode? Sun and Jin were there as extra-ish characters, and Walt didn't say that much, but I don't remember seeing Claire at all... |

| Walt didn't say much, but he had a very proud look on his face when Michael took charge of digging out Jack. Speaking of looks on faces....Michael's got a little yellow fever goin' on |

| Dayum this is some good writing. Charlie was so sweet in confession. Almost got out. Brother sucked him back in, then sucked him down the sewer hole of drugs. Big blank though on what happened between that and the brother cleaned up and out of the band. Kind of shoots a hole in our theory that nobody was supposed to be on that plane. Can anyone think of a reason Charlie shouldn't have been on the plane? Sawyer was just sick not to tell Kate about Jack and it looks like next week he's witholding an inhaler needed by Shannon? Claire? Could anyone really be that low? Did everyone catch that look between Sun and Michael when Walt asked if they could live at the caves? Yeeha! Things are steamin' up. At least Sayid makes it back next week. Yummy.

| Charlie was in a threesome? As Hurley would say "You rock, dude!" Another great Hurley quote : "Locke's in the jungle, killin' stuff". ![]() Who hit Sayid? I can think of 2 possibilities : Locke or another resident (not in the crash) on the island. |

| Charlie shouldn't have been on the plane because the management company wouldn't agree to represent Driveshaft without Liam. |

| Hmmmm. OK, it's a stretch, but I'll buy it. I wonder when we'll find out who whacked Sayid. Locke is still floating 3 inches off the ground dispensing wisdom. You can ask me 3 times and I will give them to you on the third. See this moth cocoon? Without the struggle to be free, the moth would not be strong enough to survive. I need Locke to come and counsel me.

| Ok – please bear with me, this is kind of a rough draft of thought! The moth is instinctively drawn to light (sometimes deadly light, such as a flame) and is unaware of the consequences. This is because it lacks imaginative spirit. So, like the moth that lacks the sense allowing it to be aware of pain/death that may accompany the light, the “addicted” Charlie was drawn to drugs and because of his addiction, lacked the sense to quit or see how it was leading him straight to an early grave, just like the moth to a flame. But when he destroyed the drugs (by throwing it into fire/flame), he regained his imaginative spirit.....Ohhhh - maybe Toque can make more sense of this!!! |
