Just re-watched Rising Sun, and again caught something that I didn't see the first time:

When Sun is waiting for Jin to return from talking to her father, there is a tight shot of her gold rolex right before he appears. Hindsight is 50/50...

Also, I can confirm the blatant disappearance of the blood on Jin's right elbow, and that Jack had NO cut or scar on his back during the bee swarm.

And, I got a creepy feeling from Locke this time while he was in the cave area. Can't really explain other than it seems like he is using his exclusive knowledge to sway others (in this case promising the island will give Charlie his guitar if Charlie gives something to the island.) Is he trying to intentionally diefy (sp?) the island, and at the same time be it's 'voice'? He is so quick to supply biblical and faith-related explanations, such as the Adam and Eve comment, even though there was more than one male mummy... The fact that Jack doesn't seem to trust him with the secret of the transmission, and even the black and white stones sways me to trust Locke less than I would be inclined to.

On the other hand, I want to give him the benefit of the doubt, and say he's just using every trick he has to help Charlie get through this. He confuses me...

I missed that the cut and scar were missing. Interesting. Do you think a continuity error, or a purposeful omission?

I struggle with this too. "The devil comes quoting scripture"... ever heard of that saying? Part of me wants to like Locke, helping both Jack and Charlie, but part of me finds him creepy as well.
He has definitely deified the island, and is a zealous convert in his love for it... but his love doesn't know that the island can be as ruthless as it is giving. It killed the pilot, but Locke doesn't know this, he only knows the island gave him his ability to walk. I wonder how Locke will react if the island takes another victim?

I've always been afraid of Locke, and i dont trust him. He clearly knows something about the island(the time he went boar hunting) but i think he is blind to see the island's evil side because the island made his dream true.He finally got his real walkabout.He is in love with the island and thus he is not able 2 side the negatives sides of it. I think the island is controlling him somehow...
