Thank goodness the Duckies are still around - for great comedy moments, how about Derek and Mavis with their neighbour Des. Do you remember when Des stole Derek's garden gnome? Classic!

We get the British papers, so I can't stop myself from reading the updates - some juicy stuff coming up.

I don't mind Sunita - but I couldn't understand the whole 3-way competition where she was jerking Ciaran and Dev's chains at the same time. Are guys really that clueless?

Hi guys,
Sooz, I like Sarah-Louise, but don't you think they overdo her storylines? I think she's just experienced way too much to be believable. Pregnant at 13, Richard trying to drown family, Todd (has that storyline come to it's odd conclusion yet? I read the English updates on the official fansite), Bethany's kidnapping. Too much.

Funny bits, Dierdre and Tracey falling in the pool. Lots of bits with Tyrone are wonderful (he's quite the actor at such a young age), Steve and Eileen of course, Nick unintentionally cause he's awful. Audrey can be quite funny (though she carries off the drama well too). Funny how some characters never get to be funny. Gail, Sally, Liz McDonald.

Someone said on another board that people on the show don't gossip as much as they used to. Things happen in isolation and no-one mentions it as they used to (big drama in street should be hashed over in the Korner Kabin). don't know about that. I'm finding it hard to watch (with the kids about), so tend to read it on CSVU.net
