The L Word

I did a search but didn't find a forum for this show. I know that it aired some time ago in the US but we are just getting it now in Ontario. I get it on CHCH tv out of Hamilton (but they are owned by Global) It's been airing every night Mon - Sat at 10pm.

What a frikkin show!! It's sexy and a little controversial and wonderfully uplifting all at once. I've only missed 2 shows - because I thought it was weekly, not daily.

Am I the only one watching?

We had "The L Word" on Showtime (I think) last winter. Its a good show. I'm waiting to see if it makes it to season 2.

I believe they are filming new episodes at this time. Showtime actually renewed it for a second season after episode 2 of the first season. It was one of their quickest renewals ever.

I've been reading up on the series and the reviews haven't been all that good .. it's been called a watered down version of Sex and the City and Queer as Folk but not as edgy. There are only 2 actual lesbians on the show (Alice and Gabby) and they say that it's very light on storylines but heavy on 'lesbo sex' :rolleyes.. I don't care what the critics have to say I love this show.

Texi you can find all of the episode synopsis here but it can't give you the feel for the characters - the dialogue is probably old school for Sex and the City/Melrose Place fans. I really like the characters in this show.. even the priggish Bette (Jennifer Beals)
