I'm so happy to see Amber Tamblyn and Joan of Arcadia nominated. Queer Eye deserves to win its category, as well as The Amazing Race.

The person I most want to win an Emmy is Cynthia Nixon for Sex and The City. She's such a good actress, and this season was her best. I loved the show down between her and Carrie regarding the Russian.

The Citi identity theft commercial, Outfit is one of my all-time favorites. It's hilarious. I hope it wins. That's the one that goes "Fifteen hundred dollars for a leather boustierre? I didn't care, it lifts and seperates." Glad to see John Turturro nominated for his guest role in Monk. Glad to see Monk nominated for best comedy (also Tony Shalhoub for his role of Adrian Monk), again, but with the recently ended Frasier and Sex and the City as nominees, it doesn't look like Monk stands a chance.
Who I'm rooting for: Survivor: Vanuatu - Scout Cloud Lee, Leann Slaby, Lea Masters, Eliza Orlins, Twila Tanner, and Lisa Keiffer.

I think all the Citi commercials are funny but the Born A Donkey - Budweiser (which shows a donkey wearing fake hoof hair to look like a clydesdale) is funny and the Door Music - Saturn commercial (the one that shows different things hitting the side of the car to a Stomp-like song) has a good beat.

I think Bonnie Hunt's show is being cancelled for lack of an audience but I adore her as an actress and am glad she was nominated. (doubt that means she's gonna win though.)

I also am rooting for Amber Tamblyn, Tony Shaloub, and all Friends noms.

This is the only category where I can't pick my favorite - these guys are all amazing.

I'm shocked Friends only has like a few nominations

I doubt it but it'll be cool for The Amazing Race to win again this season

Outstanding Lead Actress In A Drama Series
Alias ABC Jennifer Garner as Sydney Bristow
Joan Of Arcadia CBS Amber Tamblyn as Joan Girardi
Law & Order: SVU NBC Mariska Hargitay as Detective Olivia Benson
The Sopranos HBO Edie Falco as Carmela Soprano
The West Wing NBC Allison Janney as C.J. Cregg
I love "Alias", and I think Jennifer Garner deserves to win this. She is a great actress on "Alias". I am very disappointed that the show will not be showing until mid-season (January). It is also disappointing to see the lack of viewership for this brilliantly written drama. Go! Syd! Go!

    "Freaky deaky, baby!"

Wow, I must have been snoozing when they announced nominations for best commercial (I'm another who didn't even realize that was a category).

I love most all of the Citi Bank I.D. theft ads. But my absolute favorite is the Asian dentist/hygenist with the Larry the Lounge Lizard voice-over. Lord help me, I've known men like that in real life! So deliciously sleazy...makes me laugh every time I see this spot!

I'm very happy to see the Joan of Arcadia nominations. Like Lobeck though I would have liked to see more. Mary Steenburgen and Joe Mantegna for instance should have been nominated in the best supporting categories. In addition, I can't believe there are four episodes of the Sopranos that were better written than every episode of Joan. For instance, the episode, Jump, comes to mind. Why don't they just call the category Outstanding Writing for a Sopranos episode? Don't get me wrong. I like the Sopranos but come on.

Amber doesn't have a chance of winning best actress but it is a huge honor for her to even be nominated.

Finally, those Citi identity theft commercials crack me up every time I see them. It lifts and separates!
