Bernie Mac and Fast Lane tonight

Premieres of Bernie Mac (8pm, Fox) and Fast Lane (9pm, um, also Fox) are tonight.

Bernie Mac's hilarious - I don't know if any of you watch it, but tonight's got Matt Damon and Lucy Lawless on it.

Fast Lane is a new show, kind of a 2002 Miami Vice, with Tiffani Amber-Thiessen. It's probably going to be the only time I see an episode, because it's got terrible competition on the Wednesday 9pm timeslot, against West Wing and TAR3 (and The Bachelor, for those who want to see that).

But, I plan to watch both tonight. I've been watching Bernie Mac since about the 4th episode of last season. It's extremely funny.

Well, I'm kind of into those kind of "funny at their own expense" action dramedies. They know they're hokey, and that's the whole fun.

See Nash Bridges and Thieves, 2 of the cancelled shows I miss

This could be the Nash Bridges of this year. It could happen...

And ya gotta love TAT, anyway. Her little pudgy cheeks are so squeezable!

what did you think about "fastlane"? was it all you had hoped and dreamed?

It was not bad, but it was definitely more geared toward guys. My wife got up and stopped watching about 2 minutes into it.

It's kind of done in the style of "The Fast & The Furious". But, not terrible. I'll give it another try.
