ugh. I don't get time to watch TV anymore, much less hang out at the FORT.

But don't you worry, I'll be back in full force on or about November 3rd.

Okay, just kidding, not the season finale. But the series premeire of the NY series.

Big lip girl from 24 is still annoying me.

And Gary Sinise really doesn't look like a CSI

Just finished watching it... it's alright so far, but it'll take me awhile to get into the characters. I have a feeling I'll still like the original CSI the best though.

They're making Horatio into some superhero. What's with the quick gone-in-the-blink-of-the-eye getaway, appearing quietly at the back of the funeral, and the silent thank you from that girl? Too much cheese.

Yeah, I always thought "H" was alittle cheesy. And the Miami folks were barely in this episode, I'm glad it's not their season finale.

Big lip girl, ugh. Anyone else notice her hair was down and all over the place? Are DNA lab people really allowed to have their hair everywhere? Couldn't that contaminate evidence?

I agree makerc, that I still like Grissom and the originals the best. Horatio is annoying. I'll give Sinise a few episodes next season, although I didn't even catch his character name

Was she the one who conducted the tracing stuff?? My first reaction was, "What's up with those lips?" It (her lips) seemed weird and unnatural!

Yeah, babs, that's who I was talking about. She was on 24 earlier this season. Large lips. Not as large as Neveen's, but still large.

yep those were some big lips .. the first thing I noticed about her.
This CSI crew seems a little bit edgier than Las Vegas and Miami.. (Miami is pure cheese so it's not much competition) I loved Kanakaredes (Bonasera) and Sinse was as Taylor. Las Vegas will always be my first love but I think the NY crew might take second place with Miami as a very distant third. I wonder which night they will air NY?? Wednesday??? Tuesday?? doesn't matter, I'll be watching.

Hey, I loved this episode. I love CSI: Miami, too. I think I'm going to love CSI: New York as well.

I made an exception to my "cold day in hell before I watch another CSI Miami episode" to take an early peek at the CSINY cast.

So far, I'm not impressed. But maybe I was unduly influenced by the Miami cast, and the fact that everything Horatio says sounds like it came from inside a fortune cookie.

I'll give it a watch. But I DEFINITELY prefer the original CSI so far. And big-lipped girl isn't helping any.
