However, the way Ray reacted to her made me think that she had been talking to him about this decision and now she will be living where he is. So how long was she contemplating this while she was seeing Brenner? I just had visions of her talking with Ray about moving closer to him and then hooking up with Brenner later that night - it just seemed a little wrong to me.

Now that her story has been wrapped up, I hope that they focus more on what is going on with Carter in the last two episodes. I actually got a *little tiny bit* teary when they were talking about only two episodes left. I have been watching this show for sooooo long now...I will miss it.
I was so happy to see Ray and Neela together, I was sceaming, yelling and amost jumping up and down. I have wanted them together for so long. They almost got together when Ray came to town on the halloween show, but Brenner shot that down by stopping by Neela's apt. I have never really liked Brenner, and was upset they 1st time him and Neela got together and understood it was just a sex thing...lol Ray has been calling Neela for awhile now, they have been talking, but you never really got to hear all of the conversations that went on.. I think Neela was loney and needed something, I just wish it wasn't Brenner..
I do love seeing Ray and chance I get.. I did feel alittle bad when Brenner say them together, but not to bad..lol

I haven't watched ER in probably 6-7 years (or more), but I will be tuning in for the finale on Thursday.......

Currently, the most watched single episode of tv is the M*A*S*H Finale. I wonder if the ER finale will beat that?

I think the anticipation and buildup will give it a run for its money

The last video (the one with Rachel, that would be a good ending. The "original" docs catching up with Carter taking it all in, just like he did when the so first started.

I really doubt that it will for a couple of reasons. First, the MASH finale happened before the era of cable. Audiences were much much more concentrated, because they didn't have anywhere else to go. So it would make it an extremely difficult thing for ANY program to top that rating anymore. Beyond that, I'm not so sure that the anticipation is really that widespread for the ER finale. There are those finales which become key to pop culture as they're coming along -- Friends and Seinfeld come to mind. Even peole who didn't watch those shows regularly were anticipating them, and knew exactly when they were on. In addition to promotion on their same network, there was buzz and chatter on other shows - talk shows on other networks, and radio programs - about what would happen. I'm not really seeing much of that with ER. I think it'll definitely draw a bigger audience than the show in general has been in recent years -- just look at the number of us who've said we havne't watched in a while but are coming back for the finale. But I don't think it's going to really make a mark as a major major series finale.

If you mean the original Rachel, no she isn't.
The original was played by Yvonne Zima, now she's played by Hallee Hirsch, who started playing her in the 2000's.

I think it's fairly widely known that Rachel is coming back for the final episode, so I'm not sure spoiler tags are really needed.
