Funny thing, the bullet apparently goes through Bill, and ends up in the wrist of another player. The guy says "I still remember the cards ol' Bill had when he died. Aces and eights, if I recall correctly." For those who know their poker, aces and eights are called the Dead Man's Hand, because that's what Wild Bill was rumored to be holding when he was shot. In actuality, black aces and black 8's, although the kicker 5th card is up for speculation. The 5 of Diamonds was for years on display at the Stardust casino in Vegas touted as the 5th card of Wild Bill's hand. The Q of Clubs is on display at Ripley's BoN museum as the 5th card. The 9 of Diamonds has been reported by first-hand accounts and is most widely believed. And the King of Spades was used in the 1936 movie "The Plainsman" with Gary Cooper playing Wild Bill.
Anyway, just a bit of history for y'all.
