The show is definitely filmed in Canada. Jaye, Eric and the UPS guy are Canadian.

I caught this last night and was happy to see there was a thread already.

I think they were really trying to spoof JOA - like when the little girl walks up and tells her she's stealing. Little girls are always walking up to Joan, but they're usually wise (i.e. God). Maybe that's why her response had me rolling. It was like seeing JOA for adults.

One other moment no one mentioned that I thought was hilarious - at the end when the UPS guy comes in with his new girlfriend and she was completely rude and irritated when he was trying to croak out a thank you. Not an ounce of pity in her eyes!

Anyone watching tonight? I was rolling when Jaye's dad said, regarding her "blurb" in the book, "we're looking forward to expanding your sentence".

I love the way Jaye makes mediocrity an art form, and how she strives to avoid any work.

Ah, I love this show. The disgruntled shopper in the first episode was wonderful. I laughed hard

This episode is quite entertaining. I dont think the fighting sequence was supposed to be funny, but I certainly laughed.

I didn't enjoy this episode nearly as much. It moved past quirky to a bit dark and strange.

I thought that there were some funny moments in this one. For instance, the whole 'subject avoids eye contact with elderly and children' line was pretty funny. I just wish they got rid of One-eye. He annoys me.

Lots of funny moments. The whole stalkerish thing was too creepy for me though.
