I was juuuust about to post a question in the Joan of Arcadia thread, asking if anyone had caught this show, and then thought, "doh! Der..maybe it has a thread all it's own!"

So far, it reminds me very much of Joan of Arcadia (and Star, for the record, I completely ended up catching this show entirely because of you.)

I like the editing. I.e. the guy can't breathe, and they decide to do an emergency tracheotome, and they suddenly cut to him being wheeled into the ER with a nurse yelling, "stabbing victim!!!!!"

Maybe the bear will have the dominant role next week and so on? Just a thought....
    I had the same thought!

I love this show. I work in customer service and we always have to be nice and treat the customer like they are right even though they are always wrong, so I love watching her be rude to her customers.

I also liked it. I find it is very similar to Joan of Arcadia in some ways, but more quirky. I like it on Friday too, there is so little to watch then, and Tuesday is a crappy day also. They could spread them out more.hahahah.

I'm a fan, too! I taped it, not knowing what to expect (but hoping for the best). It was great. The lead is terrific, very likeable - in a bitchy, sassy, wish I could have said that way! Here's hoping Fox keeps it around! I can't wait to see next week's!

I saw the first episode by change and liked it. Did I miss any other episode? What night and channel is it on?

Thats the one and only epi that's aired so far Eldee. The repeat will be Thurs at 9 but the regular time slot is Fridays at 9 on FOX

p.s. The Fox site really sucks, it's a pain to navigate, hard to read (crap flashes on top of the text you are reading) and you can't copy and paste anything (that ticks me off the most) /rant off LOL

    Thanks for the info, Duxxy.

***Can someone add that info re: day, time and station under the thread name?***

I caught it, I liked it. Poor Jaye - she's so much like me when I was 23. and umm.. that was not a compliment.

I liked the show alot but I had trouble suspending belief- I'm very familiar with Niagara Falls my husband and I are frequent visitors and not one exterior scene was shot on the American side of the Rainbow Bridge. You see the casino looming behind Jaye - with no river between.
The wax lion was too funny! I just about died laughing with Poor Bitch pushing the baby carriage. Stealing the monkey! Mom not being allowed back to see the doctor unless the monkey was returned
The bartender was really cute - sucks what happened (or didn't happen) to him on his honeymoon.
I found it funny that a philosophy major tried to inject logic into the situation instead of embracing it like her waitress friend did.

    I'll be watching tonight!!
