I think James Spader has revitalised this show.
I love his performances every week and seeing Betty White so far removed from sweet Rose is wonderful too.

I also really like Ed Asner, so it's great to see him on the show.

As far as I'm concerned, you can for get the partners in the law firm, this show belongs to Spader.

I couldn't agree with you more, Fluff. This is one of my favorite shows again, thanks to Spader.

I said from the bginning that Betty White's character did it, & after this past episode, I'm convinced more than ever. She's a nutter & she hates the Mom. Revenge.

    Who did it???

I fell asleep for the last 10 minutes of the show--I saw Shore's closing and fell off right when the DA got up. Who did it?? what was the shocking conclusion??

I'm so frustrated with having watched the three episode and missing just the ending 10 minutes. Please, please, please--tell me how it ended (or put in a link for a re-cap, if anyone does them out there).

I also missed the end of last night's show, but someone told me it went like this----Allan's friend was found innocent, they go back to their old treehouse to celebrate with an old joint supposedly hidden there. The friend says something about it being too hard to get at cause the nail closing this hidden spot was old. Allan realizes immediately his client has the hammer he used to kill woman there, the client says, I really did love her. Thats all I've got.

You're right, cablejockey -- it ended with the guy admitting, without actually saying "I did it", that he did it. Oh, and the mom had slept with the priest at some point, I think.

The mom didn't sleep with the priest, the mom slept with Alan when he was a teenager. The murder victim had slept with the priest once.

the ending was sorta blah for me. it lacked the punch the practice endings often have. maybe i'm expecting too much out of the show. can't wait to see bobby back on battling the firm.
