Eh, I wasn't too happy with this episode either. It had potential, but it never really went anywhere, it could've been so much better.

But, we did get more of Meadow, which is always a good thing

They're setting things up for this season finale.

Johnny Sack told Tony it would be nice if Tony bumped off Carmine. Paulie realizes that Johnny played him 100%. Furio almost killed Tony, then disappeared in the night back to Italy. Next week, Christopher gets out of rehab.

    Should be interesting...

Does anyone know, is this IT for Sopranos, or is it coming back next season?

I hope we get a huge payoff with the finale, or I will be really disappointed. And yes, there is at least 1 more season left. Supposedly they used the 18 month layoff to shoot 2 seasons worth of episodes, this being the first.

I think JR's right, as I remember hearing quite a while ago that the next season of Oz will be its last, but that we haven't seen the end of Tony and company. Furio wanting to toss Tony into the helicopter blade, making an ER-Romaro type sushi dish out of our beloved Don. Don't think he'll be AWOL forever. Chrissy getting out of spin-dry, Paulie robbing (and killing) old ladies to get back into good graces, it should be a good finale next week.

Shameless Tivo plug: Tivo "knows" the ep is longer and will record it automatically

I haven't been happy with the last couple of Sopranos eps.

I certainly hope the finale is a little more exciting!

I'm not feeling the Furio/Carmela love either...seems too forced and came out of nowhere.

Oh, I can totally see it from Carmella's perspective, Furio is much man and I'd gladly entertain the notion, but what does he get out of it? Frumpy old wife of the boss, can't imagine he'd be that interested.

Carmela's new 'do - it's not a real "hip" look, and Tony has let his feelings be known about it. Maybe she's trying to look young and trendy. Now the really trendy types wear a black sweat suit with white tennis shoes and some black t-shirt with odd lettering, like Furio was sporting last night when he stopped by to pick up Tony. Seemed "out of place" given what the usual made men where to "work".
