    The L Word

Just wanted to see if anyone caught the premiere of The L Word on Showtime last Sunday. It's the best show I've seen in a long time - about a bunch of women - gay and straight - living life in LA. I found the website if you want to know more: http://www.sho.com/thelword1 Let me know if you caught the show!

I've heard they were a little gratuitous in the girl-on-girl action scenes, probably in an attempt to get more guys watching.

I don't know about that. I have to say that the "girl on girl" scenes you talk about are pretty genuine. I think they are really trying to be as realistic and honest as possible. anyway, you should check it out. Great show.

I read an article on this...missed the premiere. But one of the producers talks about the girl on girl action in it. She says that she hopes that it DOES bring in the male viewers, and HOPES that they watch it for the right reasons.
    ?????????
Uh yea..ok. Maybe she meant it with a lil tongue in cheek. (pun intended)

    the L Word

Regardless of WHY people tune in to the L Word the show still remains to be high quality. Besides, this isn't the first time sexual activity has been used to attract viewers.

I really don't care why/how people tune into shows. Especially this one. I was just stating what the producer said. Besides, if it's a good show, it'll do good in the ratings. If it's not good, it won't.
