    Season 3...sucks!

    Hey,
Am I alone here, or does everyone agree that Season 3 is boring and not as interesting as season 2, which is by far the best "day" that 24 has ever had....The palmer storyline sucks, the virus thing is over, and Jack is once again a wanted man? Come on, gives us something new and fresh, something to really rock us off our feet.
They almost killed TONY, which would have been a great shock, but he's okay, which is good, but again they pussed out, like the fact tha Palmer should have died, but he didn't....this show is afraid to take risks...despite what the second season showed....I am a fan, so i will continue to watch, hoping it will improve...but what do you guys think?

Hmmm, the more I hear y'all talk about seasons 1 and 2, the more I think to myself, "It's time I got myself a Blockbuster membership in my new town."
ugh. I don't get time to watch TV anymore, much less hang out at the FORT.

But don't you worry, I'll be back in full force on or about November 3rd.

Yeah I hate to agree, but this season is a week by week judgement of the show.

At the end of this episode, I said to my wife "and, once more Kim finds herself looking at the business end of a gun..."

It's all just the same rehash, with nothing turning it up a notch.

And I REALLY don't like the acting job that Palmer's brother is doing. He's all over the board.

I agree that it is a bit lacklustre this season. But I am still not giving up hope that the writers have lots more in store for us, now that Jack is being taken to Mexico.

I saw a tiny glimmer of hope when Kim was finding out about Gael, but then it was smashed when he walked in to find her. Stupid writers, don't they know how tired and bored Kim's character is when she is the "victim"??

Wenders, you MUST go out and rent season one then season two. Blockbuster, Hollywood or any other local video store!!!!
I think Johnny Damon has the SWEETEST mullet in major league baseball!

I agree with what everyone else has said. I feel like I am watching out of obligation because I enjoyed the last two seasons, rather than out of interest. Personally, I couldn't care less about Palmer (although I like him as an actor), his debate, his girlfriend, yada, yada, yada. I don't care if he loses the election, looks bad in the polls, gets struck by lightning, etc. *Yawn*

I am enjoying the new villians and Gael. This is the good stuff. Kyle Singer and his family are somewhat interesting as well. I wonder if they will fade away or have more stuff happen with them. I am sick of Kim and Jack - same old crap - Kim=victim, Jack=really pushing it. I think if there is to be a season 4, they need to get rid of some of the old characters, and bring on some fresh faces/storylines.

I think they have a really good thing going on with this show, but they need to revamp it for it to stay fresh. Or maybe I have just been watching too much reality shows and am waiting for the "big twist".

    Just my two cents...

I wouldn't say I hate it, but the season is kinda stale. The virus plot was interesting but now that's gone...or is it? Maybe there's a twist on that coming??
We can hope. I'll keep watching...it's still much better that a lot of the crap on TV these days.

A good and accurate statement Monolyth, I would say thats exactly how I feel about this season. It's STALE!!! If there is a "twist" coming, it better not be an unbelievable one either. We don't need this show "jumping the shark".

I, for one, am enjoying season 3. I looked back on some of the season 2 episode threads...why is it that everyone rushes to judge in the first few episodes? Of course Kim is going to find herself on the business end of a gun...this is "24", and its KIM!!! At some point she is going to have torn clothes and be all sweaty, too. Thats the beauty of the show, if you ask me. Come on! The "Russian Roulette" scene in the prison was great....how many of you expected Jack to get the gun and go off on the prisoners and end up escaping? I know I did...but it didn't happen that way...Jack ends up encouraging the guard to kill himself, basically.

I dont know...maybe I am just too easy to please. I think the writers do a great job, and the actors too. And there are plenty of twists and turns to come...don't forget we are only at hour 6.

Exactly!! I am actually enjoying this season more then last season due to the fact that it seems more believable.... Last season seemed like they crammed 3 weeks of activity into a day, and Kim's story line was so random.... At least now she is at CTU! Palmer has always has lame story lines, so that doesn't really bother me!!! And I loved the latest twist with Jack going back undercover...
