    CSI: Miami - 12/22 - "Hard Time"

HORATIO ENTERS THE POLITICAL WORLD OF PRISONS AND PAROLE BOARDS WHEN A RAPE VICTIM IS ALMOST BEATEN TO DEATH,
ON "CSI: MIAMI," MONDAY, DEC. 22

"Hard Time" -- When a former rape victim is beaten to within inches of her life, Horatio must enter the world of prisons and parolees to find the culprit, on CSI: MIAMI, Monday, Dec. 22 (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. Deran Sarafian directed the episode written by Elizabeth Devine, one of the series' consulting producers.

The CSIs arrive at the crime scene expecting to investigate a murder and are shocked to find the woman is actually alive. Peg Donovan, a former rape victim, is clinging to life after being beaten just days before the parole hearing for Mason Shaw, the man who raped her. Horatio's instincts tell him that Mason, although in prison, is also responsible for this latest attack. Now, the CSIs must find the crucial evidence in order to put Mason away for good before the system lets him go free.

Not according to CBS's press release, which is pretty good about noting rebroadcasts...

    How odd.

You know John, so many plots have been recycled that it's hard to keep track of which show has done what. I hope I'm wrong, as much as I hate David Caruso I still like the premise of the show

I just double-checked, and it does appear to be a new one. It's probably similar to another one. Knowing David Caruso and his "talent", they need to have him do the same things over and over again
