NBC has not released a show description, but it's billed as "one of the most exciting ER's ever" or some other adjective-laced hype.
Figured I'd start a thread for it anyway, for upcoming discussion.

"A Thanksgiving tragedy high above the ER has the County staff racing to aid the survivors and Susan fearing the worst about one of the possible casualties. Meanwhile, Abby finally finds a reason to get over Carter."
That's from next week's TV Guide.

I saw a helicopter fall from the sky in one of the previews - do you think Susan's ex-husband the flight nurse was aboard?
The preview I saw was so jammed with action!! we are in for a bumpy ride!
"Education's purpose is to replace an empty mind with an open one."
Entertainment tonight was running some segment about the helicopter crash, so I'm thinking Susan's hubby was on board, and they also showed the chopper's rotar blade swinging through the windows in the ER on the way down, just for more drama. I don't really picture many windows in the ER anyway, but this is very, um, melodramatic?

I think one of the articles I've seen says that Susan's (ex) husband was on the helicopter or may have been. There's a couple of rumors out there about what may happen but I don't want to ruin it for anyone. ER seems to "surprise" us sometimes with the gore, I hope they don't do that here.

So I said to him, "Look, buddy, your car was upside down when we got here. And as for your Grandma, she shouldn't have mouthed off like that!" --Homer Simpson
The previews for this show seem to feature Susan a lot, so I'm thinking her ex was on board too. Looks like it's going to be one of those classic ER episodes.
Phenomenal woman... that's me!!!
You guys and gals are smart. I can't wait for 10. Me and fire aren't friends so the part with the fireball exploding into the ER was such an adrenaline shot!
OMG!!!!!! Well, that was a shocker. Bigtime.

that was an interesting way to end the episode...

I had a hunch all season that they were going to kill off Romano, but I'm still shocked. Even though he was obnoxious, he was an interesting character to watch.
I'm so glad they didn't kill Chuck!!
