I saw parts, but recorded to enjoy it all later. I'm so thrilled to see the cast of Scandal. I'm a big fan.

AND I adore Tom Jones! I'm always happy to see that man. I would have liked to see a hot, pelvis moving number, but the ballad was so beautiful. That guy's voice is so fine. He's like a fine wine. OMG. I find him so sexy.

    Re: The View

I watched today for the first time in ages. Still a stupid show!

I wonder if Joy was absent so she didn't have to discuss the Democrat scandals!?

ABC is really pimping their show Scandal.

I wonder if Jennifer Aniston second guesses letting Brad get away? (I'm under the impression it was her reluctance to start a family that was the cause for the split)

With Barbara's incessant self-aggrandizement I doubt I'll tune in again.
The funniest thing about this particular signature is that by the time you realise it doesn't say anything it's too late to stop reading it.

Oh, I love him, bad work and all. Tom is the same age as my mother, which is 72! His body is still hot and his voice just as good, IMO. I guess he brings back my childhood and good memories, too. He's always such a gentlemen, though I have read the stories. lol There's always been that huge rumor about him having a very large.....nose. lol

His voice just amazes me, in spite of everything else about him! There are so many other singers his age - Neil Diamond and Rod Steward come to mind - whose voices are just shot after years of performing. I saw him live a couple of years ago and was amazed by how good he still sounds.

I love both of them as well. But when I listen to their recorded music from 20 years ago, and listen to them sing now, I hear a significant difference in the quality of their voices. When I listen to Tom Jones from 20 years ago, and Tom Jones now, I don't hear nearly as big of a difference.

So true about Tom's voice. It's really amazing. And his moves! He's still got it.

I saw Rod Stewart about 5 times in concert over the years and he was GREAT! But after his throat surgery, he was never the same. It broke my heart too. I can't listen to him now, because it really changed.

I thought Tom sounded raspy on The View, or maybe its my dislike for him.

I think a lot depends on how much they practice as they age. Everyone's vocal chords shorten as they grow older and you have to exercise them more and more to keep the vocal quality from deteriorating faster. Even operatic quality voices suffer from that.

    I'm another Tom Jones fan.
