SHe's probably also upset about the way Seth Meyers completely called her out on SNL this weekend. He recapped Hillary Clinton's answer to Barbara asking her about her hair style, and the fact that she doesn't travel with a hairdresser, and then said "Clinton followed that by saying I'M ALSO SECRETARY OF STATE". Kind of sad that a male comedian is so much more in touch with treating professional women with respect than a female reporter who is credited with opening so many doors and being such a trail blazer for women!
Barbara asked Governor Christie about his weight and Hillary Clinton about her hair. I wonder if she will ask Larry King about his breathe. LOL (I've heard stories it's pretty bad.) I wonder if she is interviewed, she would expect the interviewer to ask her about senility.
Good question!![]()

Has anyone else noticed that NRA card-carrying Whoopi Goldberg has had absolutely nothing to say about the hideous mass shooting in her state of residence? She's usually a very opinionated woman.![]()

As much as I hate to say it, I actually like Elizatwit's hair. I like the bangs
I can only please one person a day, today is not your day and tomorrow doesn't look good either
That was something that she announced several months ago that surprised me, so I guess that's why it stuck with me.
I love BW's glasses, and the necklace that she is wearing today. I hate it when I have to say something nice about her!She said she got them in Europe many years ago, so you can't get them....I say check the vintage/retro shops and you might be surprised! I miss picking out cool glasses ever since I had my corrective eye surgery in '03. I just love good glasses!
Another "I hate to say it, but...." Twit's hair does look much, much better with the bangs. Frames her face nicely. Let's face it, she is a pretty girl...she's just majorly annoying.
During the discussion on the new revelation about diet soda ("people who drink at least 4 diet sodas/day are more likely to be depressed")....Sherri actually pronounced "aspertame" as "as-per-tuh-may" today, stressing the "may"...and she was not going for a joke. She re-pronounced it correctly (with an implied question mark in her voice), but I wince to think that she really has been using that first pronounciation. There are times that I just want to shake her!!!! I believe somebody must have said something in her ear to get her to the right pronunciation.
I do love Sherri's Jeffrey stories. They take me back to when my son was about his age, and he was a sucker for the little girls in his class....you could tell by the sappy look he'd get on his face. Drove me crazy!!! He'd let those girls do anything to him!! He'd come home with scratches on his arm, and I'd be livid!!! I'd give them the "I'm gonna knock the crap out of you" look when I took him to school in the morning. He's still a sucker for certain women! When do they grow up?!
And that's my wrap-up for today!!
p.s. The woman/viewer at the end of the show said she was 97-1/4 years old, and she looked like she was, maybe, in her late 70s (which would make her younger than BW, if it were true)! She was annoyed at how she was treated when she went shopping at being ignored and not spoken to (the sales clerk asked her daughter questions about the woman, instead, like the woman wasn't sitting there). At the very end of the show, the 97 year old woman wished her boyfriend a happy birthday!! Gotta love it!!!

Believe nothing that you hear and only half of what you see. :nono
They did talk about the Sandy Hook incident right after it happened, but most of their discussion was about their emotional responses, how to deal with talking to kids about it, etc. Then they were on break for a long time. Since they've been back, they've been focusing more on new issues instead of rehashing what happened while they were gone. I think that Whoopi may be smart enough to know that if she were to make more comments, she could not win. I would guess her views on the subject are somewhat complex. The show doesn't allow for a person to carefully lay out a point of view, so she'd be left misunderstood by people on at least one side of the issue. Thats probably why she hasn't said more. I think that back when the incident happened with Tom Selleck on Rosie, that was part of hte reason he stayed quiet. First, he went on to promote a movie, and she came after him about guns totally out of the blue. He wasn't prepared, knew she was arguing from rage and not logic in what she was saying, and knew that since it was her show he would not be able to say enough to get a point across.
