I think she will be a surprise, a nice one

Being able to "boogie" and ballroom dancing are 2 totally different things with different requirements. Does Sherri have the discipline to execute the steps? Many people don't. Luck to her, but I'm not holding my breath on this one. I think the nerves and stiffness will be a problem.

Oh we'll probably hear more stories about Jeffrey and behaviour issues. More boo hoo stories about tough it is to raise a child as a divorced woman. Gag. If my kid had as many problems as she claims hers does? I'd work that few hours a day only and concentrate on him the rest of the time. Not take every kind of job that takes her all over the country all the time.

I watched the interview with Star the other day and I still have the same attitude about Star as I did back then. Star wanted everyone to lie about her weight loss surgery. Then she became all so honorable and decided it was truth time regarding her leaving the show? Nah. It was always about Star and how she was going to manipulate the public. She had professed to being happy/confident as a big woman, finally admitted she was lying. Then she lied about how she lost the weight. Then decided she wasn't going to lie about how she left the show. She is full of you-know-what. She was being vindictive. For her, it was the only way to stab-you-in-the-back while smiling so sweetly, than to be honest and let those who she had worked with for 8 years in on what was going on. She's even admitted she wanted to leave on her terms. Personally? I think she thought she would get more publicity by quitting on air and keeping her name in the public eye. Nothing about this woman is sincere or the truth, unless it is of benefit to her.

My mother and father were divorced. Then, two years later, my father died. My mother raised three kids with no family nearby and no monetary support. She did a damn good job, and never complained about it. My mother was a real woman. Sherri's whining sickens me!

Exactly. My mom raised six children all on her own - not a man around to speak of. Does Sherri really expect me to believe she has it THAT difficult????! And half of the things Sherri whines about regarding raising her son, leave me scratching my head going, "huh...really?"

Sheri and Kate Gosselin should form a support group.

Please - Sheri especially has the resources to take care of her child. She works 1 hr a day, add maybe an hr in the makeup/clothes dept.

You know her DWTS profiles will hghlight her being a mom away from her child and teary eyed missing him, yet she's the one who accepted the offer.....she's a huge hypocrite.

    Re: The View

and that's fine - she has the resources and support (hubby) to help with that. She acts like she's the only single mother in the world (and I am one for most of my son's life - from the age of 2 to his now 21).

With all that - she's still decided to dedicate a large portion of her life to DWTS for however long she remains on the show. If her life is 'so bad' raising her son, why would she do that?

Doesn't she have help from her current husband AND she says that Jeffrey's father is also still involved in his life. Jeffrey goes to CA to visit his dad on a regular basis.
