Oh, and I thought Sherri did really well with that yoga today.
It looked like a lot of fun. I'm going to see if I can find a class in my area.

I really like Judy Garland, she was very talented. Loved all her old movies.

It looked so easy for Sherri, bet she has been doing it for a while now.

My aunt says he reminds her of a song called "Charlie Brown" by The Coasters(?):

    "Fe-fe, fi-fi, fo-fo, fum
I smell smoke in the auditorium

    Charlie Brown, Charlie Brown
He's a clown, that Charlie Brown
    He's gonna get caught
    Just you wait and see
(Why's everybody always pickin' on me)

    That's him on his knees
    I know that's him
    Yeah, from 7 come 11
    Down in the boys' gym

    Charlie Brown, Charlie Brown
He's a clown, that Charlie Brown
    He's gonna get caught
    Just you wait and see
(Why's everybody always pickin' on me)

Who's always writing on the wall
Who's always goofing in the hall
    Who's always throwing spit balls
Guess who (who, me) yeah, you

Who walks in the classroom, cool and slow
Who calls the English teacher, Daddy-O

    Charlie Brown, Charlie Brown
He's a clown, that Charlie Brown
    He's gonna get caught
    Just you wait and see
(Why's everybody always pickin' on me)

    [Instrumental Interlude]

Who walks in the classroom, cool and slow
Who calls the English teacher, Daddy-O

    Charlie Brown, Charlie Brown
He's a clown, that Charlie Brown
    He's gonna get caught
    Just you wait and see
(Why's everybody always pickin' on me)"

I don't think so, she looked absolutely terrified when he was like "Just trust me! Lift up your feet and fly!" But she did it... and on national television too, so kudos to Sherri!

Condoleeza Rice is on today. I've been looking forward to this all week. It's her first major interview since the Bush administration left. I'm interested in the political things they're bound to ask, but I also want them to ask about what it's like to be a woman so high up in the administration.

I hope they get into a lot of the personal stuff too. I remember several years ago, (I think it was before she was even Sec of State) Oprah did an interview with her for her magazine. A big section of the interview was devoted to the two of them talking about the common bond they shared growing up as black girls in the south in the period of time when they did. Rice had a good friend who was killed in a church bombing as a child, so obviously, it's a subject she can really speak on with a lot of impact. I STILL remember some of the comments of both women from that interview. That's a side of Rice we don't get to see a lot, but is worth taking note when we do.

Condoleeza Rice is an amazingly diverse woman. Her hobbies, knowledge, and background are certainly inspirational. How many women out there could say they've been National Security Advisor, Secretary of State, a major University Provost, an accomplished pianist, and strongly considered for the NFL Commissioner job?

    Re: The View

I just watched one of the shows from last week, when Elisabeth walked out wearing a wide suede-looking belt, and there was no mistaking that sway-back look that pregnancy gives you when you wear something tight. The belly looked pretty significant to me. I was guessing 3-4 months.
