    Re: The View

I did not like the idea at all of having some of the women dressed as men - why? What's wrong with choosing a woman character? Barbara looked especially bad. Her makeup was so pale she looked like a ghost (but then it was Halloween). Elizabeth looked like the little girl in the old Our Gang comedies with the cowlick and the slicked-down hair with the cowlick. It was interesting that when Barbara Walters mentioned that Jerry Springer's show had been on 18 years, the audience did not applaud.

Who was Elisabeth supposed to be? I tuned in late. Did the candy corn heal Whoopi?

    Elisabeth was Ronald Reagan.

I didn't like today's show either. Babs would have been fine if she had kept her mouth shut. You couldn't understand a word she was saying.

I thought Elisabeth looked more like John Edwards.

And, yes, Whoopi was healed by the candy corn.

Too bad you missed Mark Summers. Unwrapped is one of my favorite shows so that was my fave part of the show.

    Re: The View

SNL had a pretty damn funny skit parodying The View tonight Kristen Wiig portrayed a crazy Elisabeth pretty on point. Kenan Thompson played a very accurate Whoopi. Hopefully, it will be up on NBC's site for those of you that missed it.
