That thing about EH blaming Obama for the financial crisis--it's one of the REPubs' latest talking points.

She must read those emails she gets from the McCain campaign every day.

She surely couldn't come up with that on her own.

Everything she says is a Repub talking point--you see the same stuff all over the net.

Has anyone else seen the interview BW did with Peter Cook? They're playing snippets of it on various entertainment "news" shows and it is really disgusting--Babs' questions as much as his answers. (usually by the time I find the remote it's over)

Nasty stuff--she's gone down even more in what little respect I once had for her.

Did anyone else get a real kick out of Barbara going over the list of things a boss does on yesterday's show? She was meaning to say "yes" to all of them as a joke, along the lines of "I really don't, but oh isn't it funny to say I'm a bad boss that does these things". But many of them - correcting people in front of the staff, monitoring the work people do carefully to make sure its done as you would - are things she's guilty of all the time.

Didn't she say no to this one, too? If she really doesn't, why does she call in if she isn't on and hears something she doesn't like? I have always pegged her as bosszilla.

He had 1 or 2 funny things to say but, overall, !!!

Not that I support Joy's position... it was a bit flippant and I wouldn't have made something derogatory out of it.
It's actually not THAT rare. At least not out West. Lots of parents hold boys back for a year before having them start kindergarten or first grade because they aren't sure they are ready. I can think of at least ten boys in my highschool graduating class who were 19 when we graduated. It's much more rare for girls.

I want to take back what I said about ED Hill being loud and obnoxious, upthread a bit. Last night, I realized that I was thinking about Laura Ingram. Sorry, ED!
