Just today, during the viagra part, BW pointedly said something like, "Did you hear what I just said" to Elizabeth probably because she doesn't fully listen to others before she tries to inject her view point.
Elisabeth takes it to the exteme , always. That's because she always HAS to be heard and have that last word. Women do talk over each other from time to time, but it still is inconsiderate...and Elisabeth does it ALL the time.

Even though I enjoy the other women, I just can't watch this show often because of how incredibly annoying Elizabeth is with her constant 'know it all' attitude and incessant interrupting.

Shirley MacLaine tried to shut up Elizabeth when she commented, "I don't know what you're talking about" to her. I've seen Barbara repeatably try to shut her up as well. I really don't know how the other women tolerate Elizabeth.
I wish I had the selective mute on my tv too. I absolutely can't stand to listen to her. I can't believe how happy I was when she was first selected as a co-host. I loved sweet Elizabeth from "Survivor". Then I found out who she really was and she wasn't so sweet after all..............Once she started taking up for BUSH (the worst president in recent history..imo) that was it for me.

I don't want to get into a whole pro life/pro choice debate, but she did say that to her, having an abortion is the same as giving birth to a child and leaving it on the street to die, which stunned me.
Whoopi was not too impressed with Elisabeth's views on abortion and told her she needed to back off. I did read that Sherri's been quoted as saying she'd had "more abortions than she cares to count", so I'm not sure what turn the conversation might take if the subject is raised again.
OH man...please..please tell me Elizabeth did not say that. Same as leaving a child on the street to die? She is unbelieveable.

SInce we're talking about Elisabeth on The View, I'm talking about Joy on The View -- not guest hosting anything or her stand up or anything else. I have never heard her express anything resembling understanding of a conservative point of view. Rather, I hear things like "pro-life people are idiots who hate women" or "people who support the war are idiots with blood on their hands". I only hear her mention conservatives whne sh'es making snide cracks about them.

We have not limited EH to the view, we have talked about her on fox and specifically on Hannity, but thats fine.

YOu have your views and I have mine

I think we disagree and that is okay, if we all thought the same, the world would be boring.

So, I wonder what Elizabeth thinks about having a baby she doesn't want or can't take care of? Adoption isn't the cure all since our foster care system is at its breaking point. And I have worked with kids in foster care and there is such a depressing big hole in their hearts of feeling that they are unwanted and studies have shown that kids who grow up in foster care are more likely to use drugs or go to prison and have a higher suicide rate.

I understand that you think the posts are picking on your girl. But right now, Elizabeth is the most annoying host on the view. I have posted things about Rosie. I thought she ran to extremes. Sometimes very insightful but other times her comments were very outlandish. And I thought Rosie is very sensitive and has a self destructive streak.

But you can't paint Joy with such a broad brush, back in the day she had a crush on Jack Kemp and said that if he became the Republican nominee she would have had some serious thinking to do.

Joy is a normal ny type democrat. Usually very liberal unless you work on wallstreet.

The "she" there being Sherri? Given that she was raised a Jehovah's Witness, describes herself as extremely religious, and has expressed rather staunch pro-life views on the show in the past, I'd be shocked if Sherri had had more abortions that she cares to count.

I don't have a dog in this fight. And I have no children. Two nephews I hold dear to my heart, but not a person walking this earth who I'd classify as "my girl".

There is a story at Perez Hilton about this. That is the quote from Sherri. I was quite surprised to read it.
