When you throw a rock into a pack of dogs, you know which one you hit by the one that yelps!
I like her but wish that she wouldn't keep being so overbearing about her politics. I would often just like to tell her to hush. I'm really afraid that she's going to talk herself out the door. I want her and Joy to stay and Star to hit the road. I wouldn't be surprised if there is a major upheaval once Rosie comes on board. I'm not sure that she's going to be satisfied to be a team player.
Personally, I think she and Rachel would have been about the same.

There is going to be a new format and new set. All new show, said Joy. Rather than replace Meredith they are just designing a new show to avoid comparisons.
Same thing with the Today show. Meredith will have no problem being accepted by the audience, now tired of Katie.
It remains to be seen what will happen to the View. Meredith was the glue that held it together. I cannot tolerate Barbara. Elizabeth's politics are ugly and shattering. I adore Joy. I have come to appreciate Starrs contribution. She is easy to hate, as many do, but she also offers grounding.
Now, you and I both know that you will never avoid comparisons on a show like this! And then here comes Rosie??...I don't think so!!!
It should be an interesting transition, anyway. Just as long as they keep busting Elisabeth's chops, I'm good!!!
I still wish that Star wouldn't leave because of Rosie's arrival. I think it would be interesting to see her face it without pouting and instead of running away from it. I'm sure Barbara is going to leave the decision up to Star, but Barbara is not going to make it easy for her to stay. She's going to marginalize her as much as possible, financially and otherwise. I think I'd stay just to piss her off! She'd just have to come out and fire me!
I'd play my own cards instead of dance to her music!!
I would like to see Star "un-diva" a bit, though.
OK, now I wait to be blasted by my fellow posters! Fire When Ready!!!

I have nothing against Rosie but I just don't think she's a good fit for this show. I still say that she's going to have a hard time fitting in without trying to take over. I'm not sure what Barbara's thinking was in hiring her.
If Star leaves I don't think that Rosie will be the cause. I don't doubt that if she was asked to leave, they will put as good a spin as possible on it. However they decide to go about it, I'm available to help her pack.
Since Barbara is the boss, it would behoove them all to dance to her music if they desire to stay. That's pretty much the way it has worked on any job I've ever had, anway.
Hire me as a "host" Barbara....
for what I'm sure the salary is?
I'll be glad to "dance to her music" anyday!
Just tell me the day and time.
