Heidi is one of several supermodels who are stunningly gorgeous. But I think she makes it a cut above most of them because of her personality. She comes across as so down to earth and fun-loving that it just makes her that much more beautiful.

I think Heidi is gorgeous, but probably mostly for her personality. How refreshing to have a model be so human and not seem to care so much what others think or is she out and about enough.

Do you guys think Whoopi is going to reach her weight loss goal? If she loses 8 lbs faster than me, I'm going to be mad! I've been dieting since January 1! Seriously though, I hope she can do it, at least I know that she and I are in it together!

Enjoyed seeing Rob Lowe (I really need to start watching brothers and sisters). Does he ever age?

There is nothing that grates on my nerves more than than BW's stammering and stumbling. She is like fingernails on a chalkboard, for me.

BW's vocal delivery annoys me too, but aside from that, I'm not sure I see anything wrong with her promoting her Oscar special on The View. After all, there are all kinds of ABC stars who come on the show to promote their TV shows. Movie stars come on to promote their films, and singers come on to promote their CDs. Why shouldn't Babs use the platform to promote her work when guests do the same? I'd rather her promote it during hot topics than to come on as a "guest" and promote it.

At least we got to see Bill the View Master today.

There is not anything wrong with Babs' self promotion, it is just predictable and kind of funny to me.

    Re: The View

I'm sorry, but after watching the first few segments of today's show, I just feel the need to slam Elisabeth -- big time. Defending NBC's decision to suspend David Schuster for saying the Clinton campaign was "pimping out" Chelsea Clinton? Really Elisabeth? It will never cease to amaze me that a woman like her who works on a show that depends on people freely and spontaneously exprssing their points of view continually attacks people just like her who get in trouble for things they say spontaneously. Does she not comprehend just how close that is to HER? I'm really starting to hope that one of these days, she says something she regrets spontaneously and gets suspended for it. It would serve her right.

Interesting side note on the David Schuster suspension. Keith Olberman read the apology for Schuster's (IMO harmless) word choice on the air. Just a few months ago, Olberman stated in his scripted monologue that President Bush had "pimped out" General Petraeus. Apparently, if you're an obnoxious and overrated anchor, the word choice is okay. But if you're a reporter who only fills in as an anchor, its not.
