For the last time, I'll disagree. The only thing that Rosie wanted to know from Elisabeth was whether she thought Rosie thought the troops were terrorists. A yes or no answer was all that was requested on Monday, and it was all that was requested on Wednesday. How that translates into "Rosie wanted Elisabeth to fight her battles for her" is beyond me.

We are in total agreement that the only thing Rosie wanted was an answer from Elisabeth. I don't dispute that for a second. My point is that for the people you listed off, there is no need to get an answer from someone else. Rush Limbaugh does not care whether or not anyone else agrees that it is warranted to question whether or not Michael J Fox adjusted his meds before filiming political ads. Ann Coulter does not care whether or not anyone else things 9/11 widows in some way enjoyed their husband's deaths. The people who you listed do not look to other people to give input on their opinions, nor do they stay home and not go to work if they don't get the support. Rosie does. That separates her from them.

You make some excellent points, and since I am the one that saw the Nancy Grace show I will respond to that one.

My interpretation of what they were saying and the crawl at the bottom of the screen, was that they were blaming Rosie for the drawing. It is possible that they shot the show before the actual "artist" was found and escorted from the building, but I do not know if that is true. What I heard was them putting the blame on Rosie, of course, we all interpret what we hear and that's not to say we interpret things the same.

I cannot stand Nancy Grace, so I did not watch the entire show.

So that means she's more normal than they are? In her position I'd do the same thing. For months she & Elisabeth have been going on and on about their friendship. For months Barbara has been saying she hired Rosie because she liked her. I think that entitles Rosie to feel these women are her friends and why shouldn't she be upset when so-called friends stab her in the back?

She doesn't take offense when Joy takes a stab at her, it seems they're more co-workers than friends. She didn't take offense that none of the crew didn't jump in and fight on her behalf.

No, she got upset when her friend Elisabeth didn't refut comments made on news programs about Rosie that also mentioned her ("poor little Elisabeth"). Elisabeth had no qualms shouting at Rosie that she wasn't poor little Elisabeth, why couldn't she do that in one of her numerous news interviews? Instead of watching her beloved Fox News trash her so-called friend, why couldn't she call up and say "instead of putting words in my mouth, here's what I really think". Instead she let them make comments on her behalf without bothering to step in. That says to me she believes their crap and that's likely what had Rosie in a huff. Which is completely understandable.

As for the Trump/Barbara debacle, Barbara should have backed her up after sticking her nose where it didn't belong. Rosie didn't ask her for her help, Barbara got herself involved and then messed up royally by playing both sides. Barbara should have just stayed out of it completely. I totally believe the comments Trump made were bull. Just listening to the crap he spewed last week about the Rosie/Elisabeth argument proves he doesn't know what he's talking about and will take any and every opportunity to point out how he's superior to everyone.

If there's a side to take in all this, I'm with Rosie. I may not agree with how she presents her views but I know what it's like to be screwed over by people who claim to be friends. The biggest mistake she made was to view her co-workers as friends instead of colleagues.

Truer words have never been spoken! A lot of people make this mistake, and then get burned for it. I think it's called "live and learn". I can understand why she won't be back. Some people take "friendships"...even pseudo-friendships, very seriously. Interesting that 2 people have departed the show in similar manners...I don't think the blame is so much with the 2 departees, as it is with them feeling betrayed by people on the show. Neither woman felt they owed any of those people any loyalty, and I think they were right. I've been there; I've done that; I fully understand. When it's over.....it's over.

Everybody is trying to make this about everything but betrayal, but it's really not that complicated.

From what I understand, Rosie does not dispute the attack of 9/11. Tower 1 and 2 were hit by planes. She does have a problem with the collapse of Tower 7 at a later time.

I'd like to see where bashing on lesbians, liberals and muslims SHOULD be accepted. Where is it lacking that you had to post that question? Who wants to bash on these people? Are you suggesting that Barbara, Joy and Elizabeth are being "silenced" because that's what they really want to do?

When did Rosie say nobody could have an opinion about her being gay, fat, mentally ill, and a loudmouth?
I've heard over and over and over again all the negative things people have to say about Rosie, down to having fear for her children at home
So, what I'm asking is.. how is it double standards? Did Rosie get some people silenced?
