    question:

Do you all consider Harvey Levin (TmZ.com) to be a credible source?

he was on different channels saying how his "insiders" at The View were saying that Rosie was getting into it with audience members and some of the View staff... what do yall make of this?

    The culprit has been caught.

    From Page Six:

"Yesterday, Rosie's chief writer, Janette Barber, was allegedly escorted from the building after she was caught drawing moustaches on photographs of Hasselbeck that hang in the "View" studios."

Yesterday, O'Donnell posted a video that may have symbolized how she's feeling about "The View."

The tape consisted of ducks swimming in a pond accompanied by an audio track of the John Mayer song "Vultures," whose lyrics include "How will I hold my head to keep from going under?"

Officially, "The View" expects O'Donnell to return to work on Tuesday.

She gave her plenty of time to answer and a yes or no answer that Rosie wanted was exactly what she wanted to hear.
She's likely had many discussion with Elisabeth on this topic.
Anyone who actually watches the show would know that Rosie doesn't think that the troops are terrorists, despite the comment she made.

Either Elisabeth answers 'no' and Rosie is pleased, or she answers 'yes' and shows herself up entirely as believing the way certain cable shows have spun her comment rather than believing what she knows to be true.

Either way, a yes or no answer to that question was precisely what Rosie wanted.

Most of the time, I wouldn't call him credible. However, he was the one who broke the story that Rosie would be announcing her departure. Since gossip reporting is all about sources, the fact that he broke that one does imply that he could have a reliable source who is an insider with The View.

Something similar has been reported in this thread, second hand from someone who was at the show.
I heard someone in the audience made comments to Rosie about how people shouldn't be arguing, shouldn't be divided or something like that (can't recall exactly what was said) but there was no report about what, if anything Rosie said in response to her.
Rosie was also heard arguing with a staff member, her make-up artist I believe.
That argument could have been about anything and not even related to what happened on the show from what I've read.

I was listening to some TV expert talking about that last night, and I think he made a very good point. When a show gets high ratings because of train wreck type chatter surrounding it, the ratings typically sky rocket, and then fall apart almost as quickly. It's very difficult to maintain high ratings with "people are talking" tactics -- whether it's something controversial like this, or something that is just a craze, like Who Wants to be a Milliionaire. So, while bit fights may mean big ratings right now, TPTB would be smart to put an end to it, or else the entire show will crash and burn.

That is really immature, just like Alicia Silverstone's snub. These are adults who should be able to disagree without this kind of behavior (you too Donald Trump). I also don't get the duck thing. Alicia could have quickly shaken Elisabeth's hand, but to snub her and hug Rosie looked childish. I think Rosie is better off on her own with her own show where she can be the boss. Barbara seems almost irrelevent to the show now.

I know it was previously taped but:

I missed what happened with Pad saying something about brillo hair and Joy said she had it, and then Rosie said something about a few weeks left. Anyone catch that?

Could those bbq guys be anymore annoying?
