Stacey was only ever interesting as a wrestling valet escorting wrestlers to the ring. Other than that she's as boring as a box of rocks.

I'm not a wrestling fan, so I never saw any of her doing that.

I do wonder if the rumors are true that George's girlfriends are hired and work as his companion by contract. They usually run about two years and they are paid well. That's why none of them freak when it's over. It's like a business deal. lol I don't know if it's true or not, but it does seem fishy, IMO.

I tend to think there are a LOT of those "contract relationships" that go on in Hollywood. You hear stories of them happening back in the days of the studio system, and since star's personal lives have only become a bigger part of movie and TV promotion, it makes sense that they would still do it.

Unless George Clooney needs a beard, why would one of the world's most attractive and drool-worthy male celebrities have to pay for female companionship? Am I naive?

He can get arm candy without someone expecting a serious commitment.

If you are desperate for money, then I get it, but if you can live comfortably, then why not do it? I guess that having your name out there as a famous and vibrant person is addictive and some people don't like to let go of it, no matter how old they get.
Just a guess, but maybe because they love what they do? Most people don't love their jobs but if you had one that you did, and it paid really well.....I think I'd want to keep on doing it. Look at Betty White. The world loves her, she loves her job and she's everywhere...lol. I'd be sad if she decided to give it all up to knit a sweater.

I agree with Critical on the paid arm candy thing. It's kind of like Charlie Sheen paying for prostitues when everyone knows he could pick up women for free. Using personal lives to promote a career does matter for many in Hollywood. So if they contract it, they get the press and still have the freedom of a personal life they want.

I hadn't thought of Betty White. Maybe, it's because she is still so vibrant. I was thinking about Barbara, because she seems so out of it and Joan Rivers, because she seems to be too busy to think straight and it bothers her grandson. Point taken. I guess it depends on the person.

Ref. George Clooney. I love the guy so it's a bit difficult for me to swallow that he has a beard. But, it's possible. If he doesn't have a beard, then maybe he wants a date, lover, companion, who is trustworthy and under a legally binding written agreement to keep their mouth shut about him and his private parts, bodily functions, weird quirks, etc. A regular girlfriend might fly off the handle and tell or sell some secrets about him that he would not appreciate. Just speculating.
